We had a great experience with Acorn London Bridge Estate Agents. We dealt with Beth Roberts, she was very helpful, starting from making the offer, all the way up to completion. Our requirements were clearly understood, she knows the area very well. I have been given advice on mortgage (Alex) and conveyance too. Beth gave updates regularly and enabled us to have smooth transaction. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. Quick turn around to any questions. Highly recommend. Many thanks to Acorn London Bridge for securing my new home :)
Dodgy practices and unscrupulous agents. Do check their rating on Trust Pilot (Surprise! a lot more negative). This Branch is no different from the others I used before. Most of the positive reviews here are from landlords yet if you are renters you will be snookered.
For range and properties Morgan Randall has it all and if your lucky you will have the best letting agent on the firm Nathan Dicarlo Wilson who listens to your list of requirements and sources properties you want not just his stock list like foxtons and so many others we tried but just didnt listen. Thanks Nathan and the team i will be sending you anyone looking to rent
MorgaRandall, The worst of the worst! Whatever you imagine about the service related to tenancy, this agent would be at the bottom, apart from finding you a new house after all. They are eager to find it on the initial several days but THAT'S IT!!
You might get no replies for 10 times of emails by the time when you put your holding deposit in. You might be in trouble as the move-in date would be postponed like me and you may have to wash up your cloth with your hands as the washing machine would stay out of work.
For me, It has passed 18days since I moved in.
I am in a disaster with a stack of dirty cloth, wiggly dinning chairs and not working ventilation and lights in the kitchen. While I first visited this flat to view there was a TV, but the TV has gone on the move-in date. The consultant was Elizabeth and she said "it belonged to the previous tenant. What is wrong?" I had to bought a TV at my expense. They advertised it was furnished and they insisted a furnished flat doesn't mean it provide a TV. She even added "it is very rare to provide a TV when it is a furnished flat." Nonsense!
Anyway at least the consultant should notify me if there was a big removal or big changes between the viewing and the move-in date but there was no excuse or information before I agreed the contract.
Negligent to keep you updated and ignorance of your request and just a representative of a Landlord who doesn't listen to tenants' voice. Those are my impression on MorganRandall.
II am very happy with the services and assistance rendered to me. Tom Backlog kept to word and sold our flat at our desired price within a week. I am very impressed with the numbers of viewings he arranged within this short time. Tom is very efficient, responsive and helpful and I would like to thank him for handling this sale with the utmost professionalism and care. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Pat
Absolutley the worst experience I have had in 10 years of renting! Our hunt for a property with them was good I must say, Christian at the Rotherhithe Street branch was charming, helpful and helped us find a property within quite literally a few hours of searching!
The problem was the property management itself, complaints were ignored. The property fell apart, everything was awful. I once sent a formal complaint address to the manager, it's been 18 months and I haven't received a response.
They skinned us alive for our deposit, we didn't fight because we just wanted to be shot of them! We didn't care enough about the money to deal with their rude behaviour.
DO NOT USE THEM!
I'm so upset by the rude service we recieved, it has however pushed me hard to get saving to buy a house. SO kudos on that respect.
Our new letting agents actually contacted them and then after one communication contacted me to say they didn't want to contact them again and would rather do things differently as they were so useless and overcharged for referencing services.
AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! PLEASE!!!
Highly recommended. Very helpful and efficient estate agent who maintain a good level of professionalism. Was a pleasure to be assisted by Muhsin who was always available and ready to respond to any queries and requests. Made the entire process very easy and quick. Thank you again. Extremely pleased with the experience and end result.
Scammers all the way over, they rented us a flat that supposedly got professionally cleaned.
Mould everywhere, signs of pests, no fire safety system, mattresses with bodily fluids, rotten desks.
Once contacted they have actioned most of the stuff in the most cheap and cheeky way possible.
After being here 9 months I am still waiting for them to fix the hot water in the kitchen sink, cleaning dishes with cold water is not only not pleasant, it's not hygienic! As most of the grime will always be easy to get rid of with hot water.
I have never been living in such conditions.
Please do not trust 5 stars reviews as they kind of forced us to leave a good review by harassing us once we placed a bad one.
This people are just a mafia please do not trust them, there are hundreds of good agencies out there, I would not recommend City Realtor even to my worst enemy
Alex Lessios and his colleagues Georgia Cole and James Manley have been really helpful and professional in getting our place fixed up and let out. They add value to the process with a good local knowledge and practical approach. Highly recommended.
We found a beautiful new home through James from the Dexters office in Shoreditch. Everything was handled timely and in a good manner. Thanks again!
I had just 4 days to look for a place in London and Amirah was amazing! She is one of the best professionals that I've ever had to deal with. She has a great knowledge of the area, is very attentive and professional. I can only recommend.
Had a property viewing with Natalie, who was reliable, polite and very helpful - yes, there are Estate Agents of that kind too, so credit where it’s due. Big ????
Update 12/6/19: no, let’s stick with the usual image we all have of estate agents. These ones here blatantly will advertise Shared Ownership properties at only the 60% share price - and not tell you that that is the case until a mortgage broker confronts the staff with the naked truth.
And even then, they continue the deception and continue to advertise online, through text messages and in their shop windows a partial price only: see as an example below how they advertise a £448,000 property. Avoid.
Solicitor has been contacted.
