It is our first home, and we were so excited but we were also new to the whole process and as such there were some things we didn't understand. Lisa and Abbey, and all the staff at Waghorn, went over and above to make us feel comfortable and reassured. They were available whenever we needed them and always kind and efficient. I needed to sell my mother's home to pay her residential care home fees. Chose Waghorn's because they had previously sold a similar property in my mum's road and I do believe you are more likely to get a quicker and better service from a small independent firm. Glad I did. Realistically priced to sell quickly and after many viewings able to complete in July 2024, within 4 months of first contact. Also nice to hear that the purchaser was very pleased as well. Well done to everyone at Waghorn.

I bought a house from John and the team, and completed just before Christmas 2024. They made the stressful moving experience much more pleasant. There was never any hassle about going to see the property again, emails were answered quickly and I felt that the whole process was handled perfectly.
I felt like a valued customer, not just commission fodder.
Every week or so, I would receive an update email, which is great to have because at times the solicitors go quiet and you wonder what’s going on. Knowing that I was going to get an update made it much easier to relax. I didn’t need to contact my solicitor very often purely because Waghorn And Co were keeping me in the loop.
I also know that they were in constant contact with my seller too, so I am confident in saying that they thoroughly deserve five stars.
If ever I come to sell this house, I know where to go.

Waghorns let my aunt's house and managed the tenancy, and following her death they sold the house on belhalf of my brother and me. They have always been professional and diligent, but quick to respond and friendly, and I've always felt I could trust them to do what was right for me and for the tenant. If I was an estate agent, this is how I would want to be.

I recently used Waghorn’s to sell my property and the service I received from them was outstanding. They would be quick to reply to emails, always answer the phone and would send me a weekly update which was brilliant. Kirsty, Abbey & Lisa made the journey of selling as stress free as house moving could possibly be. They quickly got my property on the market and they quickly sold the property as well. Really quite unprofessional..
Unfortunately my ex partner had to pull out of a purchase due to our personal circumstances changing over the weekend.
He relayed this to his solicitor in order to tell the sellers solicitors.
I then got a phone call from one of Waghorns team (I won't name names) to demand an explanation, asking why I haven't said anything sooner! Unfortunately our circumstances only changed over the weekend so how could I of told them any sooner?? Also I wasn't even purchasing the property my ex partner was!
Leaving me feeling extremely stressed & anxious considering I am 8 months pregnant this is not acceptable.
I am appalled at their behaviour. I understand that they work for the seller but there was no consideration. Her tone on the phone was extremely belittling & condescending.

Lisa and her colleagues at Waghorns were very friendly but professional at all times. Feedback was relayed after each viewing as well as weekly updates as the sale progressed, either by phone call or email. The excellent communication made the selling process run smoothly and stress free.
If I need to buy or sell another property I would not hesitate in engaging Waghorns again.

Lisa always kept in contact on a regular basis to let me know how any viewings went and to update me on the progress of the sale.

The only estate agents i trust! And that means really so much. We bought our first house through Waghorn, and just sold / bought through them. This was not a stress free experience (is it ever!?) but they worked so hard to smoth out all the bumps along the way - which included our house being on the market 3 times. We got there in the end. They will not fleece you, they will not tell you what they think you want to hear. They will not stalk you for business (I don't like this approch). They are straight, they will support you, they are experienced and know what they are doing.

You definately won't get that with these guys.

We viewed this property last week, the estate agent got in touch for us to put in an offer. My husband contacted them and place an offer higher than the advertised price and was told by the agent that they would get in touch next day in hope of negotiating a price. After a whole week, I contacted the agent to find out whether they were still having viewings, not realising it was us calling, the Agent informed us that the seller has already accepted an offer from a young couple and the house will now be placed under contract and taken off the market etc. I then said to her that we were waiting for her response regarding our offer and we were hoping to negotiate a suitable price, to our dismay she said "THIS IS NOT ABOUT YOUR MONEY, THIS IS ABOUT WHO THE SELLER IS COMFORTABLE WITH LIVING IN THE PROPERTY!". She also back track on on her initial statement, stating that the seller has not yet accepted an offer and that she will be putting our offer forward today to the seller and give us a decision - which she never did. This left us feeling very disappointed that this agent would just lie to our faces and be bias towards us when choosing a buyer. This is just a complete waste of our time and efforts driving all the way to Tonbridge to view the property for the agent to ignored our offer and push forward the buyer she favoured. We could have used our time to view and potentially secure another property.

Waghorn and Company handled our property sale in Tonbridge. John, Lisa and Abbey were absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. The photos and property listings looked great and the valuation was honest. Lisa and Abbey handled all of the viewings and we had many! They worked very hard to find the right buyer for us and conducted the viewings promptly and with minimal disturbance for us.
Once the chain was complete the team were all pro-active in chasing and working with the chain and were actively involved in the sales progression side right up to completion day.
Overall, great people to deal with - friendly, patient and professional.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in using Waghorn & Company again and heartily recommend them for property sales in and around Tonbridge.
