Massively overvalued to get us to sign up, then got pressured to lower price just after two weeks as there was no intrest. Only 4 viewings in 3 months even after dropping price by 25k after a month. Viewings were done by different staff each time that were late and didn’t know anything about the house. Marketing was poor. I did not feel that Wards had our best interest at heart, we were just a number to them. Disappointed we signed a 20 week contract, never going with a chain agency again, we learned our lesson. Really great service, fantastic communication which is what you need when dealing with the minefield of selling your home. Dealt mainly with Mike, Tom and Adam at the Canterbury branch, and they were brilliant - really honest and upfront, easy to get hold of (or always called back quickly) and I felt like they genuinely cared. Terrible customer service. Over valued property and subsequently had to take 30k off asking price. Staff where rude and unhelpful and unwilling to listen to suggestions! Had to get photos done twice due to first set being so bad. I will never use wards again.... Read more
