Brilliant, family-friendly service from start to finish. Luisa was fantastic with our kids, warm, patient and engaging, so we could really focus on the viewing. She also understood the added complexity of involving our parents and handled it with real care and empathy. Wards sold our house but we had a long, difficult experience on the other end when several places we tried to buy fell through, however, the team at Wards kept our chain together and cheerfully persevered through it all. A special mention for Judy, who was particularly amazing - she kept on top of everything like an elite PA! I can’t praise her enough. I’m convinced that we’re only in our new house today because of her Herculean efforts.

I was unfortunate enough to get stuck in a long and painfully drawn out chain. That said, I cannot praise Lawrence at Wards in Eynsford more highly. He could not have been more helpful, chasing agents and solicitors down the line, and putting up with me constantly pestering him. He even spoke with my vendor in Scotland and with the developer that they were buying from, something that he absolutely did not need to do. When I did finally move, I met with the vendor and they could not speak more highly of Wards and the assistance that they had been given. First rate service.

I bought my house in Eynsford with Wards a couple of months ago and, of all of the dozens of estate agents I had dealings with, I think they may have been the best. Alright, I know that is damning with faint praise (we are talking about estate agents here!), so here's some pros and cons...
Pros:
- All their staff were friendly and professional at all times.
- They kept me in the loop throughout the process, rather than only getting involved when something went wrong.
- Paul probably made the difference between me completing the sale and walking away, due to his open and straightforward manner.
Cons:
- The only fault I can think of is that Wards' office manager seemed to be a bit overwhelmed, so wasn't able to give my purchase as much attention as I would've liked. The delays in communication were starting to cause confusion so, when things started going sideways, I requested that Paul get personally involved which really helped (see above.)

So Far So Good.
I first met Shannon in person at a house viewing which probably took a little longer than usual as I wanted to check some measurements as well as check all aspects of the house. Throughout the viewing she was helpful and patient. This has paid off as I am now buying the property. During the initial process she has been very quick to respond to all my questions and has progressed and chased other parties to get everything moving forward. Grace has been an amazing lady throughout our sale.
She has been my rock, as it has been a bumpy ride with our solicitor to say the least! Grace has been so supportive, kept me updated, reassured me and helped me no end when I was stressed. She will always explain what is happening, when I have needed it, in terms that I actually understand.
I feel as though not only has she been my agony Aunt but has become a friend. Grace has been through every emotion with me, has always checked back to see if I was ok, which proves what a caring, thoughtful, lovely person she is! She goes above and beyond her job role, Grace is a credit to Wards, they are so lucky to have her as part of their team.
Shannon has been a great help to me when I have phoned the office, always cheerful and friendly, always a pleasure to speak to her.
I also feel that Paul definitely deserves a mention too as he has been so supportive to me, again so so helpful and nothing seems too much trouble, even phoning to check how things are going when it’s not going to plan! I always feel that he is very approachable and will always give me great advise.
These three members of your staff are a credit to Wards. Even though they must be very busy people, they have always found the time to speak to me for as long as I have needed them to.
I can not praise them enough!!!!

buying a house during covid restrictions was very difficult, limited viewings and a stampede of people wanting the same house as you.
We found a house that we liked online and asked for a viewing, it was fully booked. An hour later we get a call from Ellie to say we have one slot can you make it. I viewed the house on my own and knew we would fit nicely as a family into it. After some persuasion from the estate agents our offer was upped and we were going to be the buyers. A couple of visits to the house after that, were made easy by Ellie showing us as a family round. Now happily 3 months into our home, thank you wards

We sold our house through Wards at a very busy time; everyone was trying to sell their places before the stamp duty went back up again, so everyone in the industry was feeling the pressure. Our purchase had quite a few issues especially with regards to the solicitors work. If it hadn’t been for Wards, and namely Ellie and Paul at the Eynsford branch, we would have gone totally insane! Ellie always answered our calls or if she wasn’t there would return them very soon afterwards. She always kept us in the loop at every stage and made us feel very much part of the whole process and indeed, very much in control of it. She always gave us the right information and the best advice and always did what she promised she would. We felt that Ellie was definitely part of this journey and due to the rather protracted process was almost as happy as us when everything ended up successfully.
When good people do a job they enjoy they do a good job. Ellie and Paul are good people who are very good at their jobs; they did a very good job! As you can probably tell, we would highly recommend them.

After spending months with an online agent, moving to Wards with Paul and Ellie was a hugely positive experience. Both are incredibly professional, experienced and they communicated well throughout, a level above the online agent....you get what you pay for!!. Once sold, Wards aftercare was unbelievable. Grace Scott, our Sales Progressor was phenomenal, a real credit to Wards. Grace was able to get information from the solicitors when I was struggling and went over and above to get our transactions over the line in challenging timescales. Her commitment is the main reason our sale and purchase went through to the timescales we needed it to, and so we are very grateful.

We had been searching for a property for almost 2 years when we found a lovely home through wards. Having encountered a number of estate agents, wards were by far the best. Ellie sold the house well but without being too pushy.
We had been anxious to make the stamp duty deadline and managed to make it on the very last day, Grace and Ellie were helpful, proactive and supportive throughout the entire process, they were clear in their communications and able to keep our chain in the loop.
