I contacted Geoff@ the Barnehurst office at short notice for a same day viewing of a property, unfortunately the I was interested in had been sold, but he shared a few other properties in the Dartford area with me and I was offered a viewing on the same day.
The viewing went well, I loved the property and made an offer on the same day of the viewing and a few days later the offer was accepted.
As someone who has dealt with several Estate agents in the past, the difference was clear and I would strongly and always recommend Ward Estate agents to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

We just sold with Wards. The whole process with them was quick and easy. Geoff was very helpful and friendly. We also had the AI pictures of some rooms in the house as we use a bedroom as an office etc and wanted to show what they would look like as the intended rooms, they came out great and really helped with the vision of the house! After quite a few months of unproductive viewings through another hard working agent, it was a relief to have Wards of Barnehurst quickly find a buyer for our home when we went multi-agent. Overseeing the negotiations to reach an agreed price were Jeff and James. Their confident and well balanced approach to closing a deal helped enormously. But I must make special mention of Ann whose expert and friendly welcome on each visit, made the whole process a delight. But it is not just the part individuals play in their office. It is the team work, where each has a complementary role to play that brings Wards of Barnehurst their success. Debbie and Jill should take a bow too. Each has an essential role to play, liaising and monitoring the whole process..

... Did use again! For a pair of property sales which began in 2024. Both properties had been listed with another agent for six months and got absolutely nowhere. Wards did a smashing job getting deals on both of them in a very, very short space of time. Both of these sales took a long time to get through legals and Wards were superbly supportive throughout. I love everything about the Wards team at the Barnehurst office. Brendon was accommodating and fantastic throughout my journey. He arranged viewings and gave me a selection of choices to pick from. When it came to putting in an offer, Brendon walked me through the process and put me in contact with an amazing mortgage advisor. I would highly recommend using Wards if you are looking to sell your property.
The service that Wards provided throughout the whole process was second to none.
From the minute Brendon came round to give us a valuation on our flat, right up to completion day, Brendon and his team were brilliant. Debbie and Blaine were always available to answer any questions we had and always kept us in the loop with what was going on with our sale.

Was a very hard time selling our Mum and dad home after losing them both within a year of each other, the team at wards made this a much easier time they were always helpful and showed us so much care. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

I'd give it zero stars if I could. Please anyone considering using them do look elsewhere. Massively over charge in every aspect of the process. Which I could understand if the service was outstanding but it's far far from it. Eventually the lack of communication between themselves, 3rd party partners, and buyer cost me the sale falling through, whilst refusing to accept it was anything to do with them.
I could go on and on but at the end of the day, just a terrible service and people looking to sell should seriously reconsider as it'll save you a lot of time and hassle and money.

(These guys are fantastic, the beginning of this review is about my current estate agent for people who don’t read till the end)
I’m currently purchasing a property as a first time buyer. So far, from my experience I can say this is one of the most easiest procedures however, made extremely difficult because of certain people. To complete smoothly, your estate agent & solicitor must be great at what they do. The estate agent I am dealing with is a complete nightmare. I email, message and phone the person dealing with my case and get no reply. I never get any updates unless I chase myself. Since the procedure has started, I phone up every single day and I keep getting told lies. I’ve been told the top of the chain is holding me up because their estate agents are closed and they are not replying to emails. I phoned of their 2 branches and got through to both of them easily. I spoke to Retika (forgive me if I spelt it incorrectly) at the Barnehurst branch at first. She gave me every single information about my file. I at this point am not even her client and she dealt with me like I was her client. Thank you so much if you are reading this. You are brilliant at your job and have amazing people skills. After this conversation I got through to my estate agent and told them about the update and their reply was ‘ok, they are supposed to contact us and not you’. Clearly someone is not doing their job so others have to do it. Anyway, this morning I phoned up the Walderslade branch and got through to Kenny. Retika already had passed my details on and let him know I phoned up. Kenny was extremely professional and dealt with me like I was his client. He too has brilliant people skills and is extremely understanding. He answered all my questions and made me feel excited about completing and receiving my keys. Having spoken to two branches and two different managers, I can say there is a great system and professionalism within this company. Thank you to both of them and if you are dealing with either branch then I could easily say you will have a great experience.

From the beginning with the valuation my experience has been outstanding with what turned out a complicated sale of 2 properties to purchase 1 the outstanding contact and help provided in particular with the loss of a purchaser of 1 of the properties which was then resold within 4 days.
On to completion which all went out of shape as it was within the lockdown which had just started with everyone working from home and still managing to coordinate together to make it all happen
I could not of asked for a better team to deal with all of this my hat is off to all of you.
