I chose Westcoast Properties, from a couple of other options, the moment I met their representative Rachael. Rachael radiated enthusiasm and made me feel that my house was the most important property to sell.
She was extremely knowledgeable and offered commission rates that beat all other offers. Her personal interaction with the customer whilst the process of viewing and selling was ongoing was absolutely perfect. This also clearly filtered down to her staff as I would also like to acknowledge the efforts of team member Ben, who went the extra mile for me in understanding a few complicated solicitor queries.

My Mother had to move into a care home; it was a stressful time regarding finance. Rachel was very empathetic and helpful in putting the flat on the market. There was a sense of urgency from the whole team and we were impressed with the number of viewings and an offer was soon made. Katherine was particularly helpful and was very open to our numerous questions and concerns. I dealt with a difficult house buy with West Coast, one where we pushed to meet the stamp duty deadline and where there were issues lower down the chain. Rachael was nothing but professional the whole time throughout the entire process and helped us meet the deadline and get us our house move just before the deadline after spending almost an hour daily on the phone with me and then chasing up solicitors, buyers further down the chain and other estate agents.
The service was great and communication was spot on to help us in a situation that looked like it wasnt going to happen.
Overall I cant fault the service and would like to commend Rachael for putting up with my regular calls and getting all the information for me each time.

Ok West coast properties, Racheal Yates is the jewel in the crown so to speak, she goes beyond what other estate agents do and really puts herself out there to get the job done, no query or request is too small {she listens to you} and she will tell you the how it is even if you do not want to hear it! an honest and conscientious estate agent how rare is that, she really bats for your side and you often see her working late in the office. Not your average 9-5 er So please could we set the bar at Rachael we need more estate agents like her and I have used a few! far and away the best lady I have come across. Bearing in mind this is the biggest transaction you will probably make in your life time one should have professional qualified people dealing with it.

Huge thank you to Westcoast. Rachel and her team went the extra mile throughout our sale. Not an easy time to conduct house viewings and complete a purchase but the team ensured viewings were undertaken with the utmost professionalism. All viewings were completed with Covid precautions at the forefront of their plans, potential purchasers all wore masks and were deterred from touching surfaces within the property.
I didn't know if it would have been a good time to sell a property however Rachel and Gemma instantly but us at ease, they already had plans and precautions in place which made putting the property on the market a 'no-brainer' they guided every aspect of the sale, making it a simple, painless experience for us. Selling a home - what a process... well there are some estate agents who can make this process as pain free as possible, Rachael and Gemma (plus the team behind them) are just that. we have finally gone through the drawn out process which i can say that they have been excellent throughout. Rachael and the team at Nailsea have delivered outstanding service throughout. From the day we bought our house to the day we sold it we have received nothing short of the very best attention. In addition, the team do not shy away from sorting problems. The team at Nailsea are efficient and welcoming. They are completely customer focussed and have a great service ethic.
I realise that I should have been referring some of my concerns directly to the rental team. On the occasions that I did I was disappointed more often than not with the service. I do not want to be over critical but one occasion the responses I received when raising an issue were extremely defensive and there was a lack of acknowledgement and reluctance to take ownership. I realise however that the role of that team is not easy and contact with them by clients is invariably in relation to a problem. I imagine they are rarely contacted about good news in the rental world. I should add that I have written to the team on one or two occasions offering constructive comment to help them deliver an even better service.

Wow - what an amazing team in the Westcoast Nailsea office, we stupidly used a different estate agent to sell our home as opted for the one in the village we lived in. Westcoast were the agents dealing with the two other properties in our chain and the gap between the service they gave compared to our agents was huge. Also I believe at a lesser fee, if it wasn’t for Rachael at Nailsea we wouldn’t have moved and our selling fee should have gone to them not our own agents. Dan Prowse of Coast Financial Services – remember that name if you ever need a Financial advisor. Dan researched and came back with a set of options and recommendation for what was a complex re-mortgage on a 2nd property we own – fantastic service from start to finish – even contacting me weeks after his role was complete to ensure everything had gone smoothly. We purchased a house in nailsea back in December. Had to say we had very little support from the estate agent with questions that needed to be answered it was like trying to get blood out of a stone. We were told by the surveyor they tried to book him in to do a survey on the house behind our backs to help the seller to sell. Even before we had the property report we were being pressured to exchange. We had to make sure we had double checked everything as the property was a listed building. Office staff are polite but wouldn't use westcoast again. (D Nicholls co owner)
