This is a late review but I bought a house from West Coast on Alexandra parade in December 2017. They were brilliant from showing me properties right up to exchange. They even stayed a bit later on my exchange day with the manage wearing his fab Christmas jumpe ensuring I got my key after a long day of issues. Thank you west coast and I hope you enjoyed your team Christmas meal that day. Sorry for the late review but thank you for your help.

We have rented a house for 8 years in Portishead through Westcoast as Letting Agent. All their office staff and maintenance contractors have been friendly and professional throughout our eight year tenancy. Westcoast seem to keep their staff - it has been a pleasure to deal with the same people over the years. We must mention Kelly - who demonstrated excellent and reliable communication skills when managing the occasional negotiations with our landlord.

We thought we had found our forever home. Our children were excited. We had applied for schools, and our house was sold too. But after we were met with little fibs here and there, delays and a seller who had no intention of selling. We lost hope. We won't buy with this estate agent again, when we eventually look for another property.

No shows and no contact for arranged viewings, and conflicting information from people on the phone. I will not be bothering to try and view anything else listed with them.
I wouldn't normally leave a bad review, but as they are taking care of a big and stressful thing for people, I just wanted to warn others that as a prospective buyer they have been the worst agent I've come across to deal with when it comes to booking viewings on properties.

I came to Abi at West Coast, disheartened that I would never find a buyer that would complete on my flat.
After being on the market for a number of years, with various online and local agents.
West Coast did everything and more that they said they would, at a very reasonable price, almost half of the price another local agent was going to charge.
That does not mean that they were not very professional,. They were much more than that, from finding a buyer quickly to monitoring and giving regular updates throughout the sale right up to completion.
They are without a doubt the best agent I have ever used.
I am just sorry I didn't get in touch with them much sooner.

I have recently purchased a property in Weston after moving from Wiltshire so the distance made me think that it would be a worrying time for me.
But I have to say that Bethany held my hand all the way through and relaxed me when I felt stressed as I am a very anxious person.
I was never made to feel a nuisance at any time.
What a lovely helpful friendly and supportive young lady she is. A real credit to the company.

Westcoast were working for the vendor, but what I loved was that they are estate agents who listened. When showing me another property, I explained what I was really hoping to buy. From that conversation, I was given first option on a property that came back on the market and it is now my home. After the house move from hell, I cannot thank the Team at Westcoast Weston Enough. Rich, Megan and Gemma are a credit to Estate Agency!
Firstly agreeing a sale on my property at the first viewing after another agency were unable to do so, all the way through to completing on my purchase whilst having to endure my almost constant badgering.
The team acted with complete professionalism, showing patience with me, and determination with all parties involved to attempt to keep things moving, where all of the issues faced were beyond their control. All whilst dealing with the added issues of continuing to work during a pandemic.
Most importantly to me, not once in 6 months of dealing with Westcoast did they ever not return a phone call or email, even if the update was there was no update, giving me full reassurance they were doing everything they can, which during a highly stressful time is exactly what I needed.
Should I ever decide to move again, I know who is selling my house for me!

Didn’t act in our best interests when selling our house. Told potential buyers that we were desperate and could sell at 20k less than asking price. (Smart home security devices are great for seeing and hearing what goes on in your house when you’re not there) Luckily our buyers came on a Sunday so we got to do the sale ourselves. No “thanks for the business” either.

Called up to enquire about a property, was told it had been sold - on the off chance to went to the property and knocked on door ,and turns out it hadn't sold ?
A week later viewed the property, told the estate agent we loved the house and the we felt it was slightly over priced , however when our house sold we would like to put an offer in , the estate agent promised follow up calls along with updates, to only now find the property has sold ! Absolutely no commutation , impossible to get hold of, had to call 25 times to actually get through. Left answer phone messages for Richard , who kindly won't get back to me!

They were totally professional and transparent in their dealings with myself, the purchaser and my solicitor. The house was on the market for over two years, but this was due to legal proceedings, rather than West Coast's lack of marketing. At no time did I feel that they were not up to speed with the sale and communication between myself and West Coast was always excellent. Their brochure was excellently produced and internet marketing clear and concise. The speed to answer calls was always good and if their sales advisor was out of the office, they always got back to me. They showed clients round the property with a good background knowledge of the sale, and were always smartly dressed. I am totally satisfied with their performance and would recommend them without hesitation. Thank you West Coast!
