Most estate agents were giving us a headache when house hunting, but Victoria and Becky were great, especially once we started the process of buying and needed extra communication with vendors. I just wished the office hours would be longer or changed, as when you are working in office 9-5 it is very difficult to view the houses.

Great service throughout from Becca and her team at Hatfield, I visited to view 1 property, Becca listened to my requirements and I viewed 3 properties as a consequence (1 of which wasn’t even on the market!) and fell in love with one!
The team have been brilliant and I have had multiple viewings prior to completion to allow tradesman to give me quotes before purchasing and Becca and Victoria have always wanted to go above and beyond and this is appreciated

Recently me and my partner purchased our first home. Although our property was not listed with the estate agent directly, we used WhB for our mortgage application as they came highly recommended, specifically Harley Banks. We provided the necessary details and Harley dealt with everything else, he took a lot of pressure off us and made the whole process an easy hassle free experience. Refused to book me a viewing for a property without taking my full home address.
Explained that the address is not mine to give out, that the property is not up for sale and never will be, and that she is the first estate agent I have ever dealt with to insist on having my home address.
All to no avail, she insisted that she had to have my home address for the safety and security of the vendor - by far the worst excuse for data gathering I've ever heard before in my life.
Absolutely will not be conducting business with the Hatfield office of William H Brown ever again - interestingly enough, I have dealt with several of the William H Brown offices in our area and I have never given my home address to any of them, so why does the Hatfield offer insist on gathering information they have no legal right to?
Appalling service.

I turned to WH Brown Hatfield for help when a previous agent was unable to take an agreed sale to completion status.
Even though they had valued and quoted at the outset and I had chosen another agent, WHBrown were not judgemental at all and fully supported me through a difficult and disheartening time.
Clare, Olivia and Victoria:- totally supportive, always available to help, great listeners, non judgemental, highly professional, on the ball and most importantly for me, Victoria kept the process moving and kept me informed.
The value of the high street agent, where you and your potential buyers can put a name to a face, is not lost on me and I will use them again in my next sale process. In fact, WHBrown Doncaster found me my next property project and without a doubt I will call on them again.

Approached William H Brown as i needed to remortgage. I sat down with Hugo their advisor, i couldn't be happier. He has taken time to talk me through the process, what is available and what is right for me. He found me a fantastic deal which offered me everything i needed and was well within my affordability. I would highly recommend Hugo, claire and the rest of the team, fantastic service and most importantly a professional but personal approach to what is the most important financial commitment for anyone.

Dreadful company. They rent out dangerous properties. Apparently they do not have ro comply with fire safety regulations issued by the council. Our children were put at risk for 12 months and they did not care. Just after profits. If you value your families safety avoid at all costs.

Recently sold a house with W H Browns at Hatfield, firstly they posted incorrect information on their website before checking we were happy with the photos and information when I contacted them they blamed us before accepting it was a mid communication on THEIR part.
When the property was sold the buyer who was also selling their property with the Rotherham branch used W H Browns recommended solicitor and the most simple of exchanges took 4 months to go through. No phone calls from the branch with updates and when we phoned them the staff were RUDE, unhelpful and down right incompetent.
The sale went through on 8th January and even then no phone call to advise everything had gone through, it was just a case of “we have our money now lets move on to the next one”
I would urge anyone reading this if you are purchasing/selling with W H Browns be prepared to consistently have to chase them, be prepared to be spoken to abruptly. You will need to have patience as the staff work to their own pace not the pace of the PAYING customer.

Tried to purchased a repossed property through these. I had no chain, money sat waiting, should have been so easy.
They spent loads of time trying to sell me their products and then didnt keep me informed about what was going on at all. They made me not want to buy the house. It was listed with another estate agent so I've gone through them and had absolutely wonderful service.
When I told William H Brown I was going through Blundells estate agent instead, the woman rang me up and was incredibly snotty and rude towards me.
I would not recommend to anybody.

I have just sold a property through William H Brown in Hatfield, firstly I dealt with Nick to sort the finances out for new house. A 5 star service from Nick, he made sure everything when through and couldn't have been any more helpful.
With regards to the sale of the property excellent communication throughout the sale and negotiation stage.
Having dealt with YOPA for the purchase of my new property I would always recommend William H Brown over any internet service, has YOPA were extremely poor.
Thanks for everything, would like to say I'd use you again but this is house for life now.

Initial experiences good but then a little less so. Staff are mostly pleasant and helpful enough however once I had visited a property with a view to purchase I was told a week later that vendor was not communicating (possibly no fault of the estate agent but wish I had known before fretting about my offer and dismissing other viewings made over that time).
Went to an arranged viewing at another property but forgot I needed confirmation and when I got there was told that it wasn't going ahead. Fair enough but could have let me know in the negative anyway; however, I did get to speak to a neighbour and found some local connections which made me more interested in the property - but I was also told by estate agent that they had accepted an offer that morning, again, could have let me know.

Upon collecting the keys to what is our first home, they couldn't find the keys as someone had taken them out on a viewing. We had to sit and wait for over 30 minutes while somebody went to collect them. Why on earth would someone be taking the keys out on a viewing to a house which has just had a completed sale on!? In the meanwhile no refreshments or apology was given, not even a seat! Ruined such a special day for us.
