Edit: Unfortunately I’ve had to drop my rating by 2 stars because I was treated very rudely by Harry. Thankfully the other staff in the office were very helpful after the fact and were lovely to speak to, and they solved my issue within 5 minutes. However, the experience was thoroughly soured by this interaction, and I cannot in good conscience maintain a 5 star rating of this company.
Morgen did a fantastic job coordinating my move despite me being out of the country. From arranging video viewings and quick response times, this experience couldn’t have been smoother!

Awful service. Take months to repair any issues with the house, for example we had a shower leaking through our light for 2 years, yet they will use blame the tenants. Also when you end a tenancy they will do everything they can to overcharge you and keep hold of your deposit, so be prepared to never see that money again when you start a tenancy.

If you're a student looking to rent a property AVOID Your Move. They seem to have something against students, particularly the 'senior lettings consultant' at the Southsea branch. They will not respond to your emails, they will not answer the phone and do not call you back despite being told they will.
The whole process I went through to sort out my house situation was made very stressful from beginning to end. As they obviously did not care due to me being a student, what could have been sorted within a few weeks was dragged over months with zero communication and complete unprofessionalism. I was then blamed for this delay even though I had given all the information needed earlier on, and tried to chase up the situation daily with little to no response.
The senior lettings consultant that was dealing with me throughout this process was extremely rude and condescending. I had never caused any issues, neither was I unpleasant to deal with at any time, but she still felt it was right to talk to me like a was a child and I should know how everything works when it comes to renting.

if your gonna have any communications with this place, email, that way you have a record of what's being said. Just a heads up, you cant reliably quote a phone call.
If your house says bills included, just wait for them to send the addendum, which is a signed agreement that 'your bills are included.... until a point' - no one reads these because why would you, the house agreement is all done and dusted why wouldn't it be fine....
At the end of the day weather your good tenants or bad tenant's you get treated exactly the same at the end so just have fun. They are gonna try and nick as much of that deposit as possible, so even if the house already old and warn, TAKE PICTURES of EVERYTHING
My only pros are that the house I was in looked lovely (Victorian house), but your move only manage the property anyway..

I am appalled by the poor customer service of this company. The employees working there, specifically one individual, were unfriendly, condescending and rude.
They seem to be more money-driven than customer-driven.
To add on, they provided no sense of clarity throughout the process as I often felt like a pest enquiring about something important. Communication was awful. I would never do business with them again.
I never fulfilled my tenancy contract with them and I am glad.

Very poor customer service when it comes to student housing. Me and a few housemates went to view a property which we liked and were told the house we would be moving into come September would have the exact same layout and would be the same pricing. Unfortunately this was a complete lie, we were moved into a house with a completely different floor plan and in addition being more expensive than what we were originally told. Through emails we were told the house had been complete and ready to move in months before our tenancy started, however the house was still being painted the first week we moved in. My room on the front of the house didn’t even have a damp course wall fitted which failed in independent surveyors investigation. This resulted in me having a mouldy room for half the year as they company failed to amend the problem. Mould problems were a common feature throughout the house. When dealing with the agency head on, staff (particularly Amy) were very rude and condescending. And us being students I felt they were very dismissive over these issues. Would never recommend or use this company again!! Portsmouth students steer clear.

A couple of years ago we were having trouble letting our flat, financier advised us to use Sam at Yourmove best days work we ever did. She has always let our flat. We had trouble with our letting of our other place it was her help in advising us to persue a section 21, this we did and it was made more complicated because we were living in France, anyway to cut a long story short we now have got rid of the agents and have got another property which we took on with the help of Sam and her team. So without too much effort it appears that Sam and her team have been guiding us through the pitfalls of letting properties successfully.

A huge thanks goes to Amy, Sam and Maureen. Amy was really helpful, professional and patient will all my inquiries. I have rented my property while I was overseas. All the paper work and payment was done online. SO, everything I had to do once I have arrived to the UK is collecting the keys. Sam was very helpful in that part and made sure that I receive the property in its best shape. Finally, the maintenance services in Your Move is really professional and fast. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!!
The agency is full of thieves and liars. They have sky high costs which are not fully explained. Expect to be charged £120 for checking out and renewing contracts. It takes them 10 weeks to carry out repairs and that is after a lot of aggravation. And they will try to illegally deduct tenancy fees from your deposit. You have to send them a court order in order to get your deposit back!!
