This was our first experience with Your Move Estate Agents (Duston Branch) and it was a fantastic one. We enquired on a rental property very late one evening, and we were contacted promptly the next day to arrange a viewing for a couple of days later. Following a very successful viewing with Charlie who showed us around the property and confidently answered any queries or questions we had, we were delighted to be contacted shortly afterwards to let us know the viewing had been successful and the property was ours if we still wanted it, which we snapped up straight away. DO NOT USE, THEY ARE YOUR TYPICAL ESTATE AGENTS! Johnny and the team at Your Move Duston, unfortunately, are maintaining the bad name that Estate Agents have had over the years about them being underhand and calculated in the way they conduct themselves so they can get their commissions and kick backs from preferred suppliers. In April 2019 they messed us around on a house purchase claiming paperwork wasn't correct and that their in-house mortgage advisor had to speak to us first before agreeing the mortgage whilst he then tried to sell us a 'better mortgage' which we weren't interested in. They tried to force us to use their preferred solicitors as 'it will make the transaction smoother' despite the fact we already had our own who we wanted to use. They lied to us about the reason why the vendors had accepted another offer over a week after agreeing the sale with us...it was only the small matter of being gazzumped by £7.5k but I'm unsure how they would've known what to offer to go over our accepted offer other than unethical practice by the Estate Agent. We realise that all of the above is nice and legal but I suppose when you live off commission every penny counts.... Read more

If i could leave 10 stars I would!!! Sold my property in quick time at a good price, this was only the start though. People think only about the sale of the property, but the real work begins once the property has an offer accepted. We had a chain of 5 and the investment buyer at the bottom was so difficult, they delayed the move at every possible turn. Without the absolutely dedicated team at Duston Your move, and their collaborative team at Kingsthorpe we just wouldnt have even managed to get this across the line. Unfortunately the lower chain were all with an Internet Seller and so the after sale support was nothing - they pay their 'low' fee up front, there is no incentive for these agents to then assist during the most difficult time - they are literally selling you a space on Rightmove, after the experience with this chain I would never again sell to anyone who had sold through PB. You get what you pay for, & if you think agents fees are high I can tell you that if anything gets complicated on your sale they earn every penny of it. These guys did, their dedicated team (Jess - my hero) in the background ended up working for the entire chain as they only had PB aftersales to go to who were less than useless. No matter Jess worked her soul out to get this across the line with 1 particularly difficult person in the chain, without her efforts for all of us it would have collapsed. It has been a stressfull few months but with the help of Johnny, Jess, Jonathan and team we got there. If you want to sell quick, at a good price and have top class support throughout you need to use Your move. THANK YOU!!!!!... Read more
