I have recently moved in into a flat and had some maintenance issues with the hot water and lighting, I spoke to Iulia who was very prompt in calling me back to give me an update, she booked the issues to be resolved as soon as possible and arranged for the plumber and electrician to visit my home. The plumber came on the same day few hours after I reported the problem and the water issue was fixed quickly. Iulia also informed me she has arranged for someone to come in the following weeks to redecorate my kitchen which was the agency's own initiative and I was happy to hear this on the phone from her. She was very friendly and assertive and could also speak Romanian which made me feel at ease and she has offered to help me in future with any maintenance issues that may arise. Thank you Iulia

Worst experience I’ve ever had!! was supposed to be moving this morning stuff packed van ready but failed to give me a keys because they had no contract ready council was paying the deposit they was just waiting for a signed contract to pay they didn’t do it in time now everything paid ready to go had furniture being delivered Sunday refused all round to do something refused to sort me a van refused to even let me put the delivery in the property that was due Sunday demanded my holding deposit back the smirky cow behind reception don’t trust her at all!!

I chose Your Move because I liked Miranda. In contrast to some other estate agents I felt she was genuine, honest and interested in what was right for me in the sale of my house. I was really keen that my house went to people that were going to love it as much as me and am really pleased that it went to a lovely young couple.
I had a lot of dealings with Rachel throughout the process and she was friendly, helpful and kept me informed the whole time. If I had any queries she was on to it straight away and she was great at sharing information between me and my buyers.
Everyone I encountered in the office had a positive upbeat attitude and I felt as though nothing was too much trouble for them.

We put our house on the market with Your Move in April 2023. Miranda the Manager from the Wellingborough Road office in Northampton came to visit us.
The following week they held a full day of viewings, 15 in total I believe. Had four offers. We decided to accept an offer from a young couple from our of the area. Things were progressing nicely until we were due to exchange. But the day before, for no known reason they decided to pull out. We were devastated. We didn't want to lose the house we were buying as we are moving away.
Miranda visited us and assured us she get new buyers.
The next day she got viewing lined up and another couple viewed and fell in love with our house. We had to reduce the price slightly but we didn't want to lose our new house.
Four weeks later and we have now exchanged contract and are due to move next Friday.
Rachel the Sales Progress Manager has been amazing and in constant touch with us.

It was the best decision ever, they sold my apartment for more money than the asking price within 1.5 month of signing the contract (it was January, which is not the best month). The sale was not without problems although I must stress this was down to factors outside our control, and the team at Your Move were fantastic in moving matters forward.
We had plenty of potential buyers through the door and received an offer very soon after putting the house on the market.
The virtual tour is a superb selling tool alongside the team's ability.

However, with my recent purchase, the YM team and especially Joanne Austin and Matt Ashdown have been exceptional. Whenever you call the office, the person picking up the call always knows who you are and which property(ies) you're connected to. We always felt that Matt was honest with the feedback that he gave us. We decided not to move in the end but should we change our mind, we'd definitely get back in touch with Matt.

Reading other comments I think I must have been extremely unlucky but do feel I have to share my experience which is stark contrast to other reviews.
Please note this is about the Lettings, not Sales team. I called to enquire about a new listing a day after it went online, as well as two other properties, and I was immediately asked questions about my income and personal circumstances before receiving any further details. I was then told that 'a file' wasn't ready yet and that they would set it up and get back to me. When no one did get back to me, I called the office couple of days later, and they told me that all 3 properties had now gone. This was about a month ago and since then I have found a place with another Lettings Agency and I can see that the listing I enquired about is still advertised.
This was extremely unpleasant experience, since a) the person on the phone didn't care to write down my contact details or get back to me, b) thought it was appropriate to make their own judgement about my income etc (which btw is more than sufficient for the criteria) and c) openly lied about all properties not being available, therefore c) making me feel that they care very little about the people looking to rent and have an appalling CS standards in that team.
I am now very pleased that we have signed a contract with another agency, where we have a confidence that we will be well looked after, instead of dealing with Hobin Roberts.
