If you have a property you wish to rent in Whitley Bay, look no further than Your Move. I my experience I have had to push agents to do their thing, but not so here. Helen Stokes, was the only agent i have experienced who shows dogged determination, enthusiasm and energy in renting your property. I never needed to chase, she sorted everything and made things easy and simple. She rented my flat at it's market value and secured me a great tenant. I will definitely be working with these guys again in the future.

Pushy staff bombarded my solicitor with so many emails demanding progress updates, that I am at risk of being charged a nuisance fee.
Now the sale is complete, I have the keys. One set. One of which is bent. The seller has left a load of rubbish in the house. Your move won't return my emails asking for it to be removed per the seller's contract.
Edit: down graded to one star after they sent my a bogus phone number for a contractor they claimed had been paid by the seller to remove the junk. Turned out they just wanted *me* to pay.

Would give 0 stars if I could . Was supposed to be viewing a few properties and the estate agent continually ignored me , ignored my calls , ignored my messages , didn’t show me the 2 houses . When I phoned the estate agent I kept been given excuses like he’s on his lunch and he will phone you after and he never did . Went in to collect the keys of a relatives property that was being sold with your move. A senior member of staff, potentially even the manager (will not name) commented and joked in front of myself and 3 or 4 colleagues in the open shop about the property. I apologised but left feeling humiliated. Totally unprofessional. Took the property off the market with your move the next day and sold it with Pattinson very soon after. Would not recommend.

We initiated our experience with them when we were looking for a short term rental and to purchase our permanent home. From the first moment, everyone was so welcoming, patient. They took the time to listen to our situation(New to the UK), and spent time answering all our questions and explaining things that are new to us. Ultimately we did not end up Renting or Buying through the office, no fault of theirs it’s just the way it worked out. We have now settled and have returned to the office. This time for a different reason. We are now in a different place and are looking to buy investment properties. We recently successfully applied to rent a property in Whitley Bay through this branch and from the beginning they were incredibly helpful, professional and fair in every aspect of the process.
The particular property we looked at was attracting a lot of attention so viewing was back-to-back. Despite this, Rachel took the time to show us around and answer questions. We expressed interest and Rachel was fair in making no promises and explaining she would let us know if we were successful.
Once our offer was accepted, Kay was on hand to guide us through the paperwork, in person. The whole branch were very personable and the process was a laugh.
Rachel kept in touch with us for updates on the referencing process and before long we were ready to go.
The final step in branch was super easy and Graham from Embrace Financial Services walked us through some financial advice before Rachel handed us our keys.
Could not recommend these guys enough, they really went above and beyond compared to the other estate agents in the area.

Unfortunately I have had retract my rave review of Your Move, this is not a reflection of the staff of Whitley Bay Office, but the complete ineptitude of all the divisions and departments behind the scenes. My experience was of dreadful communication, misleading information, never getting a straight answer, and charging a fortune. It was the worst management I have ever had on buy to lets. The litany of mistakes would take far too long to list, but it was an immensely stressful experience.

They sold my house for me and now I am letting a flat through them and they let it within four days for significantly more than I had been getting in rent. Highly recommend this wonderful team.

Went with a different estate agent but after 2 months we had only had 1 viewing. Moved over to this estate agent and we had probably 20 viewings and sold within 2 weeks of it going up. Staff couldn't be better and kept me up to date at all stages
