Excellent letting management. Communication was quick and clear the whole way through, and the deposit process at the end of the tenancy was handled fairly and without any hassle. Shelley in particular was great to deal with. Highly recommended.

Very nice; the bedrooms. Slightly affordable and quiet. Kevin was perfect for the home tours, he kept revisiting pre viewed houses and prices for us, so we could make informed choices. Also he wasn't trying to pressurise nor force a property on us.

Absolutely avoid Nicholas Humphreys Manchester. My son rented through them while at university and we have been extremely disappointed with how his tenancy ended. They attempted to charge what we believe were excessive amounts for minor Blu Tack marks and repainting, with little transparency over how the costs were calculated. As parents, we expect students to be treated fairly, not to feel pressured into paying inflated end-of-tenancy charges.<br><br>The communication throughout the dispute has been poor, and instead of trying to resolve matters reasonably, it felt like they relied on students not knowing their rights. We have had to involve the university’s students’ union for advice because we simply did not feel the charges were justified.<br><br>I would strongly urge any parent whose child is looking for student accommodation to think very carefully before using Nicholas Humphreys Manchester. There are many letting agents in Manchester, and based on our experience, I would recommend choosing one that is more transparent, fair, and supportive of its tenants. I certainly wouldn’t allow another one of my children to rent through them.

Avoid Nicholas Humphreys if you can. My experience was appalling from start to finish. At the end of my tenancy I was hit with what I believe were completely excessive charges for minor Blu Tack marks, and when I questioned them, I was given an invoice with no proper breakdown of labour or materials. Instead of providing clear evidence, I felt my concerns were brushed aside. The whole process has been stressful and has forced me to involve my university’s Students’ Union to challenge the deductions. Make sure you photograph absolutely everything when you move in and out, keep every email, and don’t accept any charges without questioning them. Based on my experience, I would never rent through Nicholas Humphreys again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. They were agents for my MILs property, we had 4 months where no payment made and when I queried it and asked for statements Bhav became very defensive and said they couldn’t access statements easily but had nothing to hide and accused me of making accusations that were offensive - turns out they were completely true and money hadn’t been paid. Money was only paid because I went through statements and pointed out what hadn’t been paid. It took 6 months to get a response from TDS about deposit and as NH didn’t do their job properly my MiL got nothing back despite tenants leaving the property in a significantly damaged state. Avoid at all costs!
