Our experience with Symonds and Sampson was fantastic. We feel that without the professionalism, friendly help and relevant advice from Georgie and the team our house purchase would have never happened. Even though it was long and complex process, she managed to oversee and mediate some difficulties to ensure we and the seller were able to complete on our forever home. I would definitely recommend them as they have a great understanding of rural homes and complex sales. I will even be using them again to help sell a family members property. Thank you again for all your hard work and making it all possible.

The team here were rude to us as prospective renters from the moment we first spoke to them on the phone and turned their nose up at us and our circumstances (which are not very unusual or unreasonable), saying the landlord would not be interested (later it turned out they were) and that we shouldn’t even bother with a viewing. They were slow to respond or didn’t and made us feel very unwelcome. I’d suggest landlords look for friendlier representation, as they seem to have a monopoly on rental properties but there are far nicer local teams working on letting contracts.

Daniel and the team did a fantastic job with my house purchase recently.
Pragmatic, equitable and personable; Daniel made the negotiations (almost) stress free! A pleasure to do business with and would definitely recommend.

When considering the sale of our cottage we looked online for information and found GetAgent a useful resource for planning a sale and comparing Estate Agents. As a result we invited three firms to visit us and when we met Caroline, the Beaminster branch manager, from Symonds and Sampson, it really was no contest. Her focus was entirely on what we wanted and she went to some lengths determining that, including advice on buying our next home.
Once we were on the market with Symonds and Sampson the contacts with the office, mainly by phone and email were excellent. Although it was a short “chain” the sale wasn’t straightforward and the attention paid to us and the efforts to deal with any issues arising were very good, especially from Caroline. In fact we commented that even had our property been worth considerably more we could not have asked for any better service.
We have no hesitation in recommending the team at Symonds and Sampson, Beaminster.

I was very pleased with the service provided by my estate agent. Their local market knowledge was excellent, and the valuation of my property proved to be spot on. The advertising was professional, with great photography and well-handled viewings, helping the sale progress smoothly. I felt the service was good value for money, and overall performance was strong throughout. The only reason I haven’t given five stars across the board is due to occasional delays in communication, though when contact was made, the responses were helpful and professional.
