30th Aug 2024 (6 weeks ago)We found Jack very friendly and helpful. he was the one who took us on a viewing. We had quite a few viewings on that day and he was very patient with us. Also there was quite a few problems near the end and if you hadn’t been for Matt going above and beyond, we would not be moving next week.

29th Jun 2024 (15 weeks ago)Our experience is from the Rental Agency part of this business. From our perspective I really hope they train their staff better. Our experience was not good. Most/all of the problems were avoidable and reflected either a lack for training or a careless approach to the legitimate needs of their tenant. At this time the Landlord, no matter how bad they behave, is king. We won't be coming back as a customer (either in a rental or purchasing form). It would be nice if they would learn from this experience. We did!!!! In our case the training cost us hard cash!!!

When we found our dream home we had absolutely exceptional support from Jayne with the Cheddar team (James and Leanne) providing additional assistance; nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was proactive in helping us get to completion. Absolutely no complaints and would definitely recommend L&W when searching for your next property. Thank you all we are very grateful.

18th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Michael was very professional at all stages, always replying to any queries quickly, giving excellent advice and always available. We were really pleased with the photos and marketing, and viewings and achieved a quick sale. We were also very happy with the aftercare too, making sure the sale went through smoothly. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Charles Barnard again.

Their professionalism, attention to detail, and clear understanding of the local market made them stand out. While we loved our house, we knew it was a niche property and wouldn’t be easy to sell. It required strategic marketing and a highly organized team to attract the right buyers. Amazingly, the house sold in just 9 days after going on the market – far exceeding our expectations! The entire Sandersons team displayed a remarkable work ethic, working seamlessly together with dedication and professionalism. Special thanks to Chris Murphy, our main contact, who was always available with updates and advice, and to Lettie for capturing our home beautifully in photos and video. Heidi’s energy and enthusiasm as our sales representative was infectious – she truly Rocks! And we can’t forget Linda, Antonia, and Charlotte from the progression team, who were tenacious in ensuring everything went smoothly right to the end. We are incredibly grateful to the whole Sandersons team for their hard work. While we’re not planning to move anytime soon (!), when the time comes, we’ll definitely choose Sandersons again.

We then went to Charles Barnard Estate Agents and have nothing but good praise for everything the Whole Team did for us. We have not crossed the line yet but we hope signatures will be in the very near future.
