We would like to thank our estate agent Natalie Hingley for the excellent service she provided us throughout this transaction. From the start we were very impressed by her professionalism and expertise on all things relevant to selling and buying a property. She ensured excellent photographic coverage of our property which really captured its character and features to full advantage. She then sold it very quickly and throughout the next weeks until completion she was most efficient in dealing with any arising issues. She was extremely helpful in quickly answering and dealing with matters as they arose. Her professional knowledge and expertise made us aware that we were in very safe hands. Natalie also went the extra mile to be extremely helpful. Thank you very much Natalie for making this process so very smooth for us.

1st Jan 2025 (20 weeks ago)After several viewing not showing which wouldn't happen if the Estate Agent maybe confirmed in person the day before with viewers. Then when you get contacted by Facebook from a potential buyer who has asked WH Brown to view it over a week ago and did not get rang back by Brown's. What am I paying them to do !!!

Throughout the selling process, we have felt supported and have been kept up to date with every twist and turn. The use of WhatsApp was really useful. The staff were particularly good and very tenacious as we approached completion and the buyer became a bit tricky.- 17th Apr 2025 (5 weeks ago)Connells Gillingham, Dorset were very professional from the start. Produced a great brochure and photographs of the property. As we were not local they accompanied every viewing for us and got us a very quick sale at the price we wanted. Kept us updated regularly and very quick to respond to emails and phone calls. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Would definitely recommend Max and the team

17th Apr 2025 (5 weeks ago)Sophie Chiswell at Symonds & Sampson in Sherborne, Dorset, is quite simply an outstanding sales negotiator. Not only did she accurately predict that my new home—a charming Victorian semi-detached cottage in a beguiling and little-known Somerset hamlet—would be perfect for me and my two Labradors following my divorce, she also went above and beyond during the offer and the sales process to ensure that I was always kept well informed and ahead of the game. Incredibly, through her wise insight, exceptionally good people skills (with me, the lovely couple I purchased my home from and our respective solicitors) the transaction was completed within two months of my offer being accepted. Sophie is, without doubt, brilliant at what she does, but she is so much more than a super talented and highly efficient estate agent with a natural flair for identifying her client's needs—she's a thoroughly nice, warm and empathetic person, too. I will always be grateful to her for helping me to find a bright new start in life and, should I ever need to move in future, Sophie will be the first person that I call.
28th Mar 2025 (8 weeks ago)We had had our house on the market for nearly two years before instructing Salisbury Strutt & Parker who were our third agent over that time period. From the start, the Strutt and Parker team showed a palpable energy and enthusiasm for the property, which most agents do at the start, but unusually this was carried unfaltering all the way through to the completion of the sale. Strutt and Parker's terms were the same as other agents, yet they were on the phone to us communicating every detail and updating us of every thing we needed to know. They were responsive, always contactable and staff made extensive efforts to really understand the property and it's value and features. Best of all was the personal approach, Nick Ingle was happy to chat, give advice and reassure at any time of day and especially through the sale process (where most agents have moved their attention onto their next sale). I can't fault how much chasing, communicating with other parties, updating and creating solutions to issues along the way that the Strutt and Parker team did. I have bought and sold many properties in my lifetime, but their service was an example to other estate agents who shelved efforts after 6 weeks (realising it wasn't an easy sell) and stopped communicating or marketing the property. When you're paying a five-figure sum to an agent, service like we received from George, Nick and the team seems like very good value. The team were instrumental in facilitating offer to completion in just over 7 weeks saving us from the additional stamp duty rise. I can't recommend them enough.

15th Apr 2025 (5 weeks ago)I have only the highest praise for the service we received when selling our house through Forum Sales and Lettings. Martin was efficient with communication from the outset. When it came photographing our house, both Martin and Tom took their time and great care to get the shots just right and, as a result, the brochure looked amazing. In fact, it was the initial drone shot of the house which brought it to the attention of our buyers. Great online marketing as well as paper based brochures. Martin and Tom were respectful around the house in terms of removing their shoes (without us asking) and making sure that anyone visiting did the same. The process of selling is never simple, but Martin supported us and the whole chain, making sure we were kept informed and asking us to provide information in a timely manner. Using Whatsapp messaging was a great way of communicating and Martin responded very quickly. Nothing was too much trouble for him. If I went into the office, everyone working at Forum Sales and Lettings were helpful, polite and friendly. I would wholeheartedly recommend them, and I must give a particular shout out to Martin.

Luci very quickly gained our trust proving to be a straight talking and hard working lady. She was literally on hand anytime we needed help or reassurance even answering messages when she was on holiday. She will tell you how it is, not what you’d like to hear and is totally reliable.
