9th Jan 2024 (14 weeks ago)4 months of waiting and still no call back to offer me a premesis. I've taken it upon myself to contact Landlords directly now if I see anything advertised by Goadsby. This is because Landlords of the sites that I've enquired about previously have not received offers or proposed plans passed on to then, yet I'm told they are not interested. Maybe I'm missing something but I don't understand why. Based on this, I would not recommend Goadsby Commercial to anyone if you want a hassle free, simple business transaction.- This agent doesn't have any reviews

20th Mar 2024 (30 days ago)Came in the wild overvaluation to secure the property, then kept us to reduce the value by 25,000 within four weeks then a further 25,000 in another four weeks as part of the boxing day sale did us very good viewings offers the second and third we had However communication has been less than des, leaving my son who used to be estate agent to do most of the viewings and communicating with the purchaser- 25th Jan 2024 (12 weeks ago)Viewed properties on Markham and Curtis Fields. Mark was so patient, approachable, polite and professional during our viewings. Highly recommend the agency and also the beautiful homes. Bigger than your average new builds.
11th Dec 2023 (19 weeks ago)Waste of time miss sold auction as not explained then tell me it's the auction house not them but signed with them confusing and very arrogant I ended up doing the showing as they could not be bothered also waiting for showing did not tell me they had canceled and on way home as I'm awaiting for them to come had to phone office to see if it was still going on waste of time

12th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)We thought we had bought a house through direct move but fair to say, after a dreadful experience we chose to walk away from the purchase. From aggressive selling towards my partner after a viewing to the way we were offered the chance to increase our offer even though we had been previously accepted, Direct Move Weymouth were not pleasant. I won’t be recommending you …. Rotten eggs!
24th Aug 2023 (7 mo. ago)AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The worst estate agents I have ever encountered. The day I went to collect my keys, I entered the branch and was completely ignored by all staff members and was not greeted. This was just the beginning of an awful year. Living room windows allowed water to enter. At first, they tried to convince me it was due to condensation. It took 2 months of me calling and emailing for someone to even have a look. The rain water damaged my brand new TV stand. Instead of fixing the problem (the damaged gutters) the leaking area was painted over with "sealant" which quickly allowed water through again. Spoke to the owner of the branch who said he would have a look and send someone out, he never did. Window is still leaking 13 months later. The bedroom began to sprout mould due to the unprecedented winter cold but also extreme damp caused by a leak from the upstairs flat. When I sent an email about the leak in the bedroom, I was told its probably caused by the leaking window in the living room. The mould began to effect my health and damage my furniture and belongings, which I was told to "give them a wipe". This was also painted over. I had to purchase a £300 dehumidifier to tackle this damp with no support from the landlord or estate agents. Humidity levels in the flat measured at 85%. I was actually advised to "seek alternative accommodation" if I wasn't happy. Found a live earthworm in my toilet. Bathroom sink wouldn't properly drain. Bathroom light and kitchen hob lights were not working on move in day. Owner and staff have no sympathy or compassion, offer absolutely no solutions and will ignore or avoid you unless they need a payment from you or to sign documents. Had to remind them to return my deposit 2 weeks after I had moved out. If you can rent or buy from anywhere else, I strongly recommend.

17th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)Don't waste your time. Dealing with Jack Tozer was absolutely waste of time for me. He promised to call, he didn't. I wanted to give an offer to a landlord. Jack even didn't listen to my offer (he never accepted any written application and he even didn't ask what was my offer) and said that the landlord chose someone else. This company didn't follow any procedure with me. Avoid or go there and be prepare to feel be discriminated etc. Also, Charlie Lickiss left here 5 stars review. Person with the same first name and surname works in this company...

After making Avenue Sale & Lettings aware of our situation, Nick, Jodie & Grace got swiftly into action and the next day we were already viewing properties. The team at Avenue worked tirelessly and in just a couple of weeks they managed to get us settled into our cozy new home. There are letting agencies and then there is Avenue that is a cut above the rest, so much so that brilliants comes to mind. Outstanding quality of service and professionalism. Thank you all so much! Your efforts are very much appreciated. Alina & Jack

18th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

I was in a position to move on this as quickly as possible and a viewing was arranged for me straight away. I am very excited to be moving in soon and the experience I had was excellent. Thank you again Wilson Tominey for helping me.
