8th May 2021 (4 years ago)We had a home buyers survey carried out by Jowett's and I'd struggle to recommend them. The survey missed several fairly obvious issues, and when I asked for further information on how to improve the energy efficiency of the property as this was commented on in the report I was given very generic advice which was totally non-specific to the property. Rather disappointing.
16th Jul 2024 (11 mo. ago)Ended up paying almost double fees due to a recommendation of an auction site. Don't be fooled into this option, stick with your E.A.
13th Feb 2024 (1 year ago)Bramleys went above and beyond to support us buying our house and also did a better job chasing everything up with the sale of our house which was via another estate agents. Nothing was a problem and they were always happy to answer questions and give advice about the process.

I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

4th Jun 2025 (12 days ago)I am absolutely disgusted with Bettermove!! They offered to buy my house for a fixed price, having deducted 20%! Which is what I told them I wanted a 'quick' sale. They offered of 2 options. Or, they said they could market it for a month AND actually LIED and stated they HAD investors INTERESTED in MY property!! Within a week I realised they had NO investors!! So, when the 'month' was up I asked if they would buy the house for the price they had stated instead. They said they would take a FURTHER 20% off AGAIN!!! Had they told me this would happen in the first place I would've just sold it to them!!! AND, in the process, they have DEVALUED the market value of my house!!! I think its absolutely disgusting that they seem to act without any conscience. They lie and are not up front with what the options really are. They have set my house selling back by possibly years now!! If there were an Ombundsman or official way to report them I would do so!
8th Dec 2023 (1 year ago)Didn't manage to sell my house. Tracey was lovely buy gave me little optimism for selling the house. Where other selling agents were giving more information about the current market and how other houses were selling which helped me a lot. Couldn't arrange for someone to do viewings a few times on weekends so therefore we ended up doing our own. Eventually we thought what are we paying them for therefore trying another agent.- This agent doesn't have any reviews
