9th Sep 2026 (16 days ago)I’ll be honest, most of the estate agents I have used in Wakefield are genuine and responsive to my queries….this one though I am not too certain with. I did give them 3 stars to give them the benefit of the doubt but they fail to communicate like any other estate agents. They never kept me up to date with properties on the mailing list and fail to respond to queries in a timely manner. Their complaints process and department are useless….a donkey would have more knowledge and understanding…for this reason, I’d avoid them like the plague.

Their communication, honesty, and reliability are second to none. Without a doubt the best estate agent in town. Special mention to Peter and Summer for their service on our recent purchase. We would highly recommend them.
9th Sep 2026 (16 days ago)1 star — Avoid if you want a letting agent that communicates and takes responsibility<br><br>Don’t leave a review until you have experienced their services as a tenant!<br><br>My experience with this letting agent has been exceptionally poor, and I would not recommend them.<br><br>The biggest issue has been the way problems are handled once something goes wrong. In my experience, communication has been unreliable, commitments have not been followed through, and I have repeatedly been left having to chase matters that should have been dealt with by the agent.<br><br>My dealings with Daniel White have been particularly disappointing. Meetings have been arranged and then not attended. I have been given assurances that were not followed through, and I have had to challenge information that I believe was inaccurate. The result is that I have had very little confidence in anything I have been told.<br><br>The agent has also handled harassment I have experienced within the building poorly. I have raised concerns about the behaviour I have been subjected to, but I have not felt that these concerns were taken seriously or dealt with appropriately. Rather than receiving clear communication, meaningful support or evidence of proactive action, I have been left feeling isolated and responsible for repeatedly chasing the matter myself.<br><br>A letting agent should take complaints about harassment seriously, respond promptly, keep tenants informed and take reasonable steps to address concerns—particularly where the behaviour affects a tenant’s safety, wellbeing or ability to live peacefully in their home. In my experience, that standard has not been met.<br><br>Most concerning has been the handling of essential maintenance. My boiler has been known to have serious problems for months. Their engineer has attended on multiple occasions attempting to fit parts, despite indicating that the boiler is too old to be realistically repaired. I have now been left without hot water for an extended period, yet the agent has still failed to take appropriate action.<br><br>This is not a minor inconvenience. Hot water is a basic necessity, and a letting agent should take an urgent and proactive approach when an essential service fails. Instead, I have experienced delays, excuses, missed meetings and repeated chasing.<br><br>What has been most frustrating is that I have made every effort to deal with these issues reasonably and through the proper channels. Unfortunately, the impression left is that problems are simply allowed to drag on until the tenant becomes exhausted from pursuing them.<br><br>A letting agent should provide professionalism, honesty, communication and accountability. Sadly, I have experienced very little of any of these.<br><br>If you are considering renting a property through this agent, I would strongly suggest you look very carefully at how they deal with existing tenants before committing yourself. Getting the keys is one thing; getting problems resolved afterwards is another.<br><br>Based entirely on my own experience, I would not use this letting agent again and I would not recommend them to prospective tenants.
21st Sep 2026 (4 days ago)The team at Simon Blyth Kirkburton, have been very helpful and knowledgeable during our recent sale. In particular, Grace has been patient and extremely professional during the whole process. She dealt promptly with anything that arose and kept us informed throughout.

She stayed in constant contact and was always on hand to help with any questions I had, and she went the extra mile to make sure moving day went as smoothly as possible.<br><br>R&D may not be the cheapest around but I'd happily use them again knowing the level of service they provide.

11th Jan 2026 (8 mo. ago)BE CAREFUL IF YOU OR YOUR NEIGHBOUR USES PAISLEY PROPERTIES - They posted a photo of our vehicle with the registration clearly visible, it appeared on the listing for a neighbouring property. It was published on their website and social media. Our vehicle was parked on our private property, not visible from the roadside and accessed via a privately owned driveway. The photo featured along with our complete address details. We had to ask several times for it to be removed, we complained in writing and their response was that they would not communicate with us about this issue.No acknowledgment of their error, no explanation as to how it had occurred and no apology. Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional and this was the business owner.

23rd Sep 2026 (2 days ago)Samantha, Jack, and the rest of the team did their best for us; however, we unfortunately sold at the wrong time, just as the UK 2026 market stalled, and we had to reduce the price more than we usually would have. The buyer got a bargain, and it stings somewhat! That isn´t MoveNow Properties' fault, though; they were quick to respond, did accompanied viewings after normal hours when needed, and worked to facilitate a quick exchange and completion of a chain-free transaction.

They were always extremely good at keeping us informed about any enquiries and they always came back to us with feedback after viewings. They did the viewings on our behalf, and they were always fantastic and there were never any issues with availability. Redroots works well with its solicitor partners, HSR Law, resulting in a seamlessly streamlined and integrated process. Despite unexpected Land Registry complications which threatened to impede progress, our personal Redroots Sales Agent gave us excellent counsel and guidance throughout. I would highly recommend Redroots for a smooth, reassuring and efficient sales experience.

Joe and Stewart have been fabulous and took our sale through to completion very quickly. Communication was flawless, we were kept regularly up to date and they gave great advice and support as the offer came in and sale progressed. I would 100% recommend them and we will definitely use Haart again in the future.

From the very beginning, he has been incredibly efficient, professional and genuinely helpful throughout my purchase journey so far.<br><br>Jake submitted my very first offer on what will be my dream home, and he has gone above and beyond at every stage since. He even delayed his lunch break so I could get to the office with my paperwork, then helped with all the technical side of uploading the documents so everything could be processed quickly.<br><br>Communication has been outstanding. Jake has kept me fully informed about my vendor's house search and the progress of the rest of the chain, so I've always known where things stood. He also instructed my solicitors on my behalf, making the whole process much smoother and taking a lot of the stress away.<br><br>Whenever I've called or emailed, Jake has always responded promptly.<br><br>If you're buying or selling a property, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jake and the team at Mallinson & Co.
