10th Dec 2024 (6 weeks ago)As a first-time buyer, I was understandably nervous about the entire house-buying process, but the team at Allen and Harris, Irvine branch, made everything so much easier. From the very beginning, they were incredibly supportive, professional, and approachable. Fiona, the mortgage advisor, was outstanding. She guided me through every step of securing the best mortgage deal, explaining everything clearly and patiently, which was invaluable for someone like me with no prior experience. She made what seemed overwhelming feel completely manageable. Leanne and Elizabeth in sales were absolutely phenomenal, especially on exchange day when things could have gone very wrong. I spent over three hours in their office that day as issues arose, and they worked tirelessly to ensure the sale didn’t fall through. Their quick thinking, determination, and problem-solving skills were nothing short of amazing. Despite the challenges, they kept me reassured the entire time, and we even had some great conversations and laughs during what could have been a stressful situation. Their warmth and positivity made all the difference and turned a daunting day into a memorable experience. If you’re looking for an estate agent that genuinely cares about their clients, especially if you’re a first-time buyer like me, I wholeheartedly recommend Allen and Harris. Fiona, Leanne, and Elizabeth are a dream team, and I can’t thank them enough for their dedication and hard work. Five stars doesn’t do them justice!

From initial contact to completion they were client focused and attentive with prompt communications throughout and made everything easy for me.

4th Jun 2024 (7 mo. ago)Absolutely appalling service ! Sent in forms on Friday 31st May regarding a rental property at Carseloch Rd Ayr, we offered 6 months rent upfront on top of the 2 months deposit. We received a reply from Samantha Outten quoting “Many thanks for your applications, we will get back to you about a viewing in due course.” We called on Tuesday 4th June to see if there was any update, only to be told there was a block viewing on Saturday 1st June that we were never told about and the landlord had picked one of the viewers. When we asked if we would have been informed that our offer was not successful, we were told “we sometimes have up to 50 applicants for a property so………” Excuse me but if you have up to 50 applicants then you will contact 49 applicants and tell them they have not been successful. That would be the professional and decent thing to do. We were also told that it states in their wording that if we don’t hear back then we weren’t successful. Actually it states in your wording that you will respond within 5 days. Oh and then the girl on the phone actually hung the phone up mid conversation. As landlords ourselves we have never treated any tenant or potential tenant in the manner that the staff of Galbraith’s have today, and the fact that there are dozens of applicants for every property these days does not give you the right to be as unprofessional and ungrateful as you are.

30th Jan 2024 (11 mo. ago)Helen at Move2 Estate Agents, Saltcoats has been excellent in handling the sale of my parents property. They recently moved into a nursing home and I was left to sell their property. As I live offshore, this process was not easy however Helen took control and arranged everything for me, from clearing out the old furniture, arranging cleaners and showing clients around the flat, even at weekends. Her local market knowledge was excellent. I would highly recommend her for all your house move/sale/purchase requirements.

In my opinion you wont get any better representaion in selling your property. Linda is very friendly and knowledgeable and made a daunting process run smoothly. The team responded immediately to my emails and calls, arranging all the viewings. The sale went through remarkably quick. I am extremely grateful for all their help.

Let Property on the other hand connected my property to one of their contacts who already had a criteria in place. Easy as that.
