As first-time buyers, we were nervous and unsure about everything, but he explained each step in the simplest, clearest way—truly “baby language” that made the whole process feel manageable instead of overwhelming. He was patient, friendly, and always happy to answer even our silliest questions. Andrew made sure we understood exactly what we were signing up for and gave us complete confidence in every decision. From our very first viewing to completion, Gil was consistently welcoming, patient, and incredibly supportive. She always gave us a listening ear, answered every question with care, and made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and reassuring. Her professionalism was matched by her kindness, and we always felt like we were in safe hands. Thank you, Gil and the entire team at Savills, for helping us find and settle into a place we now proudly call home. We’re so grateful
6th Feb 2026 (8 weeks ago)Avoid this firm if you value your time and energy. We engaged them in early January and initially communication was fine. After submitting all requested documents, we even had to chase to confirm receipt, only to be told later that our emails had gone to their junk folder, despite recent active email conversations. We were assured they were happy to act, even with an overseas buyer. The mandate was submitted on 23 January, and the last response we received was on 26 January. From 30 January onwards, we followed up multiple times and received no updates at all. After weeks of silence, we were finally informed that they could not proceed due to AML concerns relating to source of funds. This was extremely frustrating, as apart from bank statements, no further documents were ever requested. We were told additional documents such as gift letters might be required, yet these were never asked for before the matter was dropped. Phone calls were equally unhelpful, we were repeatedly told the solicitor was unavailable and would call back, which never happened. No one is forced to act as our solicitor, but a simple update during those weeks would have saved us a significant amount of time & allowed us to approach another firm sooner. The most disappointing part is that despite us being the paying client, we were the ones constantly chasing for updates. Overall, very poor communication and a disappointing experience.

24th Dec 2025 (14 weeks ago)Edit: in response to the reply from the Roxburgh group - Since the Roxburgh group are claiming no knowledge.. the landlords names are Fiona and Michael Smyth. I actually dropped my keys on Fiona’s desk at the Stewarton office at the time. They may no longer have any affliation with the Roxburgh group however if they do then certainly avoid this couple. I rented a property with the Roxburgh group between 2022-2023. The landlords were a married couple who also are based in the office. I woke up one morning to the landlord (Mr) standing in my hallway after having posted a handwritten note with his contact number and name on the back of an envelope asking me to call him. He knocked a few times however as I was a single female living alone at the time with no spy hole in the door and wasn’t expecting anyone I chose not to answer. He then assumed I wasn’t home and allowed himself entry to what was my home at the time, giving no legal written notice. I had changed my contact number a couple weeks prior and forgot to update the letting agent, which is my own issue. My email address & next of kin numbers were still valid - none of which were contacted. He used the excuse that he was “worried” about me for illegally entering the property. Very intrusive, I was moved out of that flat within weeks of the incident! Would never feel safe using the Roxburgh group again.

Nicol Estate Agents made what for me, was a very emotive sale go through seamlessly. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future and would 100% recommend them to family and friends.

23rd Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)My wife arranged a viewing in New Cumnock, travelled for an hour to get to it and nobody turned up. There was someone in the property but they would not answer the door! Nobody is answering the phone at the office or returning emails. A very, very unprofessional company! Please think before using Glow Homes ….. Wasted time and petrol……**update, now been blocked from their facebook page for stating these facts…..???????????. ***update 2, was phoned by the director who would not take our concerns onboard and was more interested in a bad review to the very poor service we received today. I explained that no one would answer the door to the viewing, so naturally the first step would be to phone the estate agent. No one was answering their phone (turns out the office was closed), we emailed the office to which it took 1 1/2 hours to respond! Not much help there. Me wife and mother in law had travelled some distance for the viewing, so were almost home when they received the email. These are all facts. We asked why they were arraigning viewings when the office was closed and nobody could be contacted on the phone. When the ‘director’ phoned he passed the buck with loads of excuses, these are all facts! We were offered petrol money, but was hung up on before we could arrange this…. Hopefully they take on board our concerns before anyone else is highly inconvenienced………….

11th Mar 2026 (21 days ago)My wife and I recently sold our house and moved to a new home in Ayr. It had been nearly 10 years since our last house move and the most stressful of things to do. I have moved about half a dozen times over the years and I can honestly say I have never found an estate agent that I trusted. The majority seemed only interested in making money from you with little input or effort. I have used a good few and all been the same. This time I noticed some new options in the market and we reached out to Belmont Property. All I can say is I am so glad that we did. The service from this dedicated, knowledgeable bunch of honest hard working guys was absolutely superb, night and day to all the rest. They genuinely care about you, they were in no rush, taking time to answer all your questions and concerns, they talk common sense and not nonsense, They give you an honest opinion and there set up from house survey to home report, the fantastic use of the enhanced marketing and drone survey to them actually arranging and doing all your viewings and negotiations for you is superb. What they discussed with us was exactly what played out, what they said we could maximise and achieve was exactly what we did, the way they market the asking price in relation to the home report value was 100% accurate and had viewers coming in numbers despite it being in December. Our house was effectively sold in 2 days. They believe in doing all the work and earning what you are paying them and on top of this gave us good advice on our purchase too. From what I have seen online, with the amount of properties selling fast, then I am not on my own. I cannot emphasise how genuine, how knowledgeable and how lovely this team is at Belmont Property. I can guarantee nobody comes close. To add to this, having seen some distasteful posts from other firms on FB, they conduct themselves with modesty and dignity too. They are the Leo Messi of Estate Agents in Ayrshire and you would be crazy to choose anyone else. Massive thanks to Richard, Barry, Donna & Stephanie. 5 star doesn't do it justice

Lynne provide support and guidance above and beyond anything I have ever experienced with an estate agent! I cannot fault a single thing and can only praise her level of commitment to getting your property sold for the best value possible. Her advise, enthusiasm and help every step of the way really made it feel like a team effort! Kept updated at every point. Something I have not known previously selling a property. I would 100% give my full recommendation for Cecchini Property and Lynne to anyone considering putting their home on the market.

I initially started off with a solicitor estate agent, and sat on the market for the best part of a year with very little viewings. I contact Nicola and after speaking with her decided to proceed. I was blown away with the service, she prepared my house for the photographs. It made such a difference and she was genuinely excited about showing my property. Two months in and we received an offer. Nicola came round on the day of the move to make sure we were on track. She has a very calming, caring nature, whilst efficiently guiding you. Thank you for making it a pleasurable experience.

Provided great background to their business and knowledge of local market without trying to oversell. Managed to sell our property for great price over home report and provided great guidance throughout. Would definitely recommend for anyone selling their house in the local area.
