6th Apr 2024 (20 days ago)Our experience with Mov8 was easy they kept us informed with viewing and communication was prompt. The only thing was their offices are in Edinburgh and Glasgow and we are in Carnoustie which was a little inconvenient if we needed to go to their office to sign things
14th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.
17th Aug 2021 (2 years ago)Received a letter to say i was liable to pay cost towards a fence which is on my neighbours ground. The estimate from the companies clearly state who is responsible and my address is not on the estimate but they are trying to say it is on the title deeds. I called my solicitor yesterday morning who got back to me in the afternoon and told me it was absolutely incorrect, There is a communal pathway between the two properties and each property has their own individual boundary. Therefore not liable to help with cost of fencing. However my solicitor also told me that the fencing provided when property was built was wooden fence posts with 3 lines of wire to separate the gardens at the front this separation was between 26 and 28 and then a fence between 30 and 32 as there was no requirement to separate 28 and 30 due to pathway. At the back of the house each property had the same wooden posts with 3 wires strung across. Through time resident decided they wanted more privacy and they have all done this in different manors. IE. Hedges, fence panels and some installing brick walls all paid by the individual owner / resident of own property. This company has decided to take it upon themselves to pester residents which have been in their property for over 50 years to subsides their property owners bank account by telling them they need to pay up. I have already put up fencing in my back garden which has enhanced both my neighbours gardens without asking them to contribute to it. I have also had issues with this company as regards to the maintenance of the back gardens they are supposed to be managing over grown bushes,trees blocking out the light to my garden and damaging my garden hut. Which due to the trees and bushes have caused side of shed to be replaced due to dampness caused by the bushes that had grown wild and the roof had to be felted again due to the trees and leaves. I also have a job every year clearing up all the leaves which fall on my decking and the destruction caused to my decking which needs to be painted every year. I have yet to have an apology from the so called business with regards to this and for them to hide behind a title deed. I think they should check before trying to bully people out of their money.

27th Feb 2024 (8 weeks ago)Requested a home report in June 2023, none given. Asked my solicitor to request it, no response. Asked in February 2024 for another report and June 2023 report, no response. Spoke to one of the agents on the telephone once. He kept referring to me as sir despite me telling him numerous times I'm a Miss. Unprofessional and I feel sympathy for their clients who are using them to sell their property. They unfortunately aren't aware that they simply don't respond to requests for home reports so they're sat on the market for prolonged periods. Avoid.
4th Apr 2024 (22 days ago)I have recently completed the letting process with Slater Hogg & Howison (Kilmarnock branch) and myself and my son are soon to move to a property we are very keen on. I was greatly assisted along the way by Bernard, whose expertise, diligence and compassion were outstanding. I felt he went above and beyond during this experience, which included a few curve balls being encountered, of which he ultimately sorted out! I cannot commend Bernard highly enough for his competency, friendly nature and commitment and I am sincerely grateful for his assistance during this time. Also, many thanks to Shannon for her help and advice delivered in a friendly and professional manner.

I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.
17th Apr 2024 (9 days ago)They were fine when I first took out the rental, but since I terminated the lease they've been awful. Unresponsive to emails, delaying returning the deposit, for a different reason every time I call them about it. Really disappointed in their total lack of professionalism. They're not even showing any common courtesy, in fact they are downright rude now. Like many other reviews I fully believe they are trying to retain as much of the deposit as they can for as long as they can. Be very wary if you are thinking of renting a property from them, they're exactly the kind of shoddy business that gives estate and letting agents a bad rep.

15th Feb 2024 (10 weeks ago)Well what can I say? From the first time I saw those video adverts for Montgreenan on social media I took an interest. We were looking to sell our Bungalow in Ayr. We did the usual thing got a few Agents in and listened to how they would use their resources to sell our property. Once speaking to Michael he was very knowledgeable of the local market. He understood customer expectation and the reality of going with a good price and being realistic about what we could achieve. Montgreenan aren't the cheapest but they are value for money. You can call with queries and there was always an honest and reassuring voice to smooth out any concerns. We had our first viewings booked in and got an offer very quickly. Michael dealt with all the viewings. Throughout the process we got regular updates with Montgreenan alway being very accountable and on the odd occasion visiting rather than an email or phone call. We received an amazing service and would highly recommend Michael and Montgreenan to anyone who wants a smooth and transparent sale of their Property. 5 stars to them if I could give more I would.
