27th Apr 2024 (13 weeks ago)Not a great experience with this company. Placed in a property via my local authority. One company fronts for this company. From day one I reported issues to the initial company I was introduced to. I had a random visit from the owner of this company who found it amusing and failed to comprehend exposed scolding hot pipes, over 1.5m drops in the back garden with no rails, loose paving, an un lockable back door, holes in walls and floors plus many more hazards were an serious issue for an ASD child. He dismissed me and instructed me to get a quote to decorate the bathroom while skipping out of the house arrogantly. I have since come to find out he is not just the estate agent but also the owner. After months of failed repairs by unskilled random men I had to get Environmental Health to inspect. In addition to the faults I identified there were multiple hazards identified including Cat 1 health and safety issues. I have even found slugs in the house. After all this still no effort to repair. Have the audacity to call me sis when you met me but have me and my kids living like this? Absolutely disgraceful people. When I am moved the whole street will get a copy of the report so other families you happily take GBP’s for will know exactly what they are dealing with!

7th Jun 2024 (7 weeks ago)Awful agency, we have to call them unlimited times just to get our deposit back. We deal with them as a tenant and every time when we have a problem we had to call them so many times, we had a broken door for more than 2 years until we left the property they didn’t bother to fix it. We had a mice problem and we try to contact them and they said we have to deal with the management company not with them.

Consistently use their initiative with formal processes. Prompt regarding compliance issues and punctual around visits. I would recommend them again and again.
1st May 2019 (5 years ago)After meeting with three agents, De Scottia were the chosen agent for a number of reasons. First being they were not pushing for a hard sale. Secondly, the agent quickly took note of the living situation with my elderly mother and took on board my comments of how fragile she is and to liaise with myself. He was brilliant from the start. Very easy to get hold of, prompt and efficient. He explained everything to us and was more than happy to explain anything we didn't understand without making us feel silly. Our agent was happy to get his hands dirty and move boxes (and a large bed!) to get the photos he needed. When we went on holiday and he needed access he ensured he understood the alarm system and sent me texts whilst away to keep me update and assure me the alarm was put back on. Fantastic service and really pleased we went with them. Our agent gave us honest feedback and we had an offer within 2 weeks. So far the sale is going through smoothly and I would highly recommend.

She made the whole transition very stress free, when I was in difficulties with arranging my mortgage I was able to just have chat with her, she took everything on board, didn’t feel rushed at all. She supported me throughout, Very efficient service. Lovely team. Thank you to Julia, Lucy and Gary.

Hannah's customer service was exceptional, always prompt, and very friendly, offering advice more like friends than agents. Their pricing was competitive and transparent, with no hidden fees. The entire process was seamless, and moving in was hassle-free due to their efficient handling of paperwork and formalities. A lovely welcome gift after moving in and continued check-ins to ensure we settled well highlighted their genuine care for their clients. While I haven't needed their returns and refunds policy, I trust it would be handled with the same professionalism. Overall, M&P Estates Ltd exceeded my expectations with their excellent service and personal touch.
