25th Mar 2024 (30 days ago)We were persuaded to use an auction method. But there was no communication regarding viewings or once the auction ended. There was little to no vetting of potential buyers. Messages and emails went unanswered. Altogether a poor experience and we went with a different agent who delivered a confirmed sale two weeks later.

16th Feb 2024 (10 weeks ago)Arranged a viewing with my partner for 6pm. Called several times to confirm viewing as we were travelling over an hour away and never showed up. Stuck around for 20 minutes just to give the benefit of the doubt. Tried calling several times and no answer either. Time and petrol wasted thanks to this estate agents. Incredibly unprofessional!! Update; we arrived at 5:30 and stayed until 6:30pm. Yes, we knocked a few times and clearly no one was at home. We attempted to call the office and there was no answer. We left a note and the tenant eventually called us. Regardless of who is supposed to show us around, the estate agents are the ones managing the sale of the property. In the time we were scheduled to have our viewing and when we actually got to see the property, we placed an offer elsewhere.
25th Sep 2019 (4 years ago)This estate agent was worse than useless, very rude and slow. Messed me about with the house I was supposed to buy and move into and was I chargeed £2,500 before they could take the property off the market. Then the sitting tenant refused to move out and it took over 6 months get our money back and only achieved this by report ing them to the Property Ombudman. Lost close to £ 3,000 in findin g an alternative property to buy and had to take them to court. Now they have movrd from their Orsett road premises after they got expelled from the property ombufsman membership and are nowhere to be found... BeEWARE AND DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL
1st Nov 2023 (25 weeks ago)Premier Estates acted as selling agent for our three-bedroom bungalow on Canvey Island. Throughout the process, I found Darren Burke and his team, efficient, friendly, helpful and supportive. The selling details/photos were of a high quality and their advice on how to market the property and at what price were spot on. Based on my recent experience, I would have no hesitation in highly recommending the Premier Estates office/team on Canvey Island.

She guided me from the start of the process to the end and even checked up on me after moving in to make sure I settled in well. She always made sure I was not rushed to make any hasty decision and made sure to explain everything in details. She even went out of her way to ensure I moved in earlier than planned as I had to move earlier than expected.
5th Apr 2024 (19 days ago)This is my 2nd bad experience to this agency. Never again. Will not bother asking for viewing for their properties. Called yesterday confirming our jobs and all information including my small child. Everything is well and told me they will call me back. The day after I follow up for the viewing request and they suddenly changed mind that they can't accept the child which they said a day before that it was okay. We never experienced this with much more known agencies than PORTICO! AVOID!

They are an amazing team, very professional and efficient in their services and deal with empathy intact! Sharon has been excellent my one point contact and surely she won’t be judgemental but will cross all extends to help ?? Sharon has restored my faith in estate agents, surely angels like Sharon and her supportive manager who approved her actions to support me??do exist still in this materialistic world??I would highly recommend them! Most importantly I feel one woman empowering another woman in time of needs~so surely my piece of advice….. estate agents should employ more and more female staff who can sense and feel for female clients traumas…. one going through. To emphasise I have never had staff like Sharon in last 15 years in my multiple dealings with several estate agents in this country. For me she is my god sent angel??
