30th Aug 2022 (1 year ago)Recently purchased a property at auction with Hammer Price Homes. I was a little sceptical first about buying a property via an online auction but was really surprised and happy about how easy it was. I liked the transparency of the auction and felt that it tested what the actual market value of the property was rather than the usual process of placing offers through an estate agent. The additional benefit was that we had time to arrange a mortgage. We had 3 months following the auction to complete and Michael at Hammer Price was great to guide us through the process and answer any questions. We completed 2 weeks ago and have began renovations on our new house last week!

I would have no doubt or hesitation in recommending Elmhirst Estate agents to anyone.... they care and today that counts for a lot. They did everything possible to help us achieve our goals. I don't feel valued as a customer, the way she dealt with our process of buying a house was not professional and very confusing. I would never recommend this agency for any of my friends and I will not be buying a house with them.

19th Feb 2021 (3 years ago)Absolutely terrible service, you g boy answers phone who’s clueless the owner sits behind a bullet proof screen in the back hiding from people an absolute disgrace of a company dont expect your bond back even if the house is better than when we moved in. DO NOT TRUST THESE LIARS this company has changed names already probably to avoid any legal proceedings but my guess is they wont be around for much longer. Disgrace of a company

Couldn't recommend more highly for anyone wanting to sell their home, they have great rates and provide an all round good experience for a process that is incredibly stressful!!

She responded promptly and ensured the problems were sorted and the purchase went through. I would recommend the Agents and Charley without hesitation.

27th Jul 2020 (3 years ago)After or sale fell through and we decided not to sell, gates estates refused to give us or upfront payment of £1100 back saying it was non refundable. This wasn’t mentioned at the signing of contract only this was a deal which was used to compete with the internet agents which had to be paid upfront. The contract even says refundable after 21 days notice and nothing about no refunds. The matter will be dealt with through the small claims court. A very stupid act from Ryan gates as i doubt gates estates will be trusted in birdwell hoyland and hoyland common by the time I’ve done.

30th Dec 2023 (18 weeks ago)Really pleased with Bettermove, they sold my tenanted property to an investor within 10 days of listing it. Everything they promised they delivered on. Great communictaion and nice to speak to someone outside of office hours too. 5 stars!!
