10th Mar 2026 (17 days ago)From the moment I viewed to when I collected the keys, the team at Hunters was excellent. I have worked with them across branches, one in Sheffield and this one in Barnsley. There were regular updates and check-ins that made the process of buying relatively stress free.

We’ve been in 3 months now and unfortunately our oven broke. We honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better, the issue was resolved within 5 working days. He wears his heart on his sleeve and you won’t find anyone better to deal with. Absolute top quality service
15th Mar 2026 (12 days ago)Can't recommend enough! We sold our house with William H Brown at the start of 2026. It was exaclty four weeks from their initial viewing to completion, which is so impressive (we were very lucky with certain things but they certainly didn't waste any time). Every little bit of progress, they would let us know. They did all of the fiddly bits like sorting all of the documents we need and they had a good relationship with our solicitors, as well as our buyer. Literally so easy for us. 12th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)Awful, awful experience. Blundells ruined my house sale, lied about the details and refused to engage with my complaint. They cost me 10 weeks, thousands of pounds and don't seem to care. Unprofessional, misleading and accountability resistant.

Easy to speak with and very well explained the process start to finish, any queries were answered quickly and they made sure you understood everything. Could not recommend them any higher, will use in future if I ever need to!

21st Mar 2026 (6 days ago)I’ve sold two houses through Armitage sorbys estate agents , and I would highly recommend them , they went above and beyond to help me , paying attention to key elements I would have struggled with because I live in a different country, and had to do everything remotely, both times I met in person at the houses and went through all the detail and gave the keys over before leaving the country , there was so much done in my absence and I couldn’t have managed everything without they’re help , out of hours phone calls, help coordinating house clearance , even carpets and electric certs where resolved by them while I was not even in the country , if I could give six stars I would thanks again guys

Sold in three days thanks to the professional and friendly staff who were always on hand to answer our many frantic calls!! Can't thank you all enough for everything you did for us Carol & Jill.
25th Mar 2026 (2 days ago)This is probably the worst letting agent in Yorkshire. Indecent people. Avoid them at all cost. If you're looking for a room to rent, try the spare room app. They change employees often because nobody wants to work with them. I can imagine why. The manager has low standards, culture, manners and no style apparently. Don't waste time on them. I have been woken up multiple times during the last few years by them, and they don't respect that I work on the night shift despite asking them not to do it. It is simple, but they like to play games. I tell everybody I can avoid them and my friends have the same opinion about this agent. I'll give you another example: the property had to go through an electrical installation assessment and receive an EICR certificate. The contractor did not receive keys for closed rooms on the property and had to visit the g8 office in the middle of the procedure. Don't you think that he should receive the keys before assessment? Don't you think that there are some serious communication issues in the office? Amateurism at full throttle. Next example: the carpet in one of the rooms in the property had to be replaced. Do you think this agent will make any arrangements with you or at least send notice? Forget about it. This requires too much effort. Do you work at night and sleep during the day? That's not a problem for them! They will send a contractor who will wake you up. Another example: don't keep your floor mop in the kitchen because the cleaner will steal it. That's what has happened to us. Another example: They aren't treating clients with respect. This time, they entered my roommate's room, grabbed his acoustic guitar and started singing. Of course, I was woken up. Is this normal? No it's not and that's clownery, low client standards. I would not handle my property to such amateurs. I suspect that they have bought reviews on google maps and when time comes I will escalate this. Stay sharp blunt G8.

From Rebecca coming to value and arrange the professional photos and video through to Emma chasing Solicitors everything was stress free. Again thank you WH team.
7th Mar 2026 (20 days ago)Steve came and assessed our property and did not pester us for a decision to us Nestledin. When we signed up pictures were taken and posted on Rightmove almost immediately resulting in viewings and a quick sale.Communication has been great all through the process

10th Mar 2026 (17 days ago)Initially we decided to use Leaders because of the enthusiasm of Lisa, who came out to do the appraisal. Once we had a buyer, the negotiation on price started. We advised Chloe of our minimum selling price, adding 'this is just between us'. Less than five minutes later, she came back to us, sounding pleased with herself and advising that the buyer would meet our minimum selling price. There didn't seem to have been much negotiation in those few short minutes. Maybe we should have made it clear that the minimum was just that; a minimum, not the price we wanted to sell at. Yvonne was our sales progressor and we were not impressed with her lack of contact. A couple of times we gave her information but got no reply to our emails. We were in contact with our solicitor regularly and Yvonne did chase information from the solicitor on one occasion that we had already been given by them. Overall, the sale went through very smoothly and quickly but we think that was more to do with our solicitor being very proactive and our contact and chasing of them. We have sold a number of properties over the years and Leaders sits somewhere in the middle of the agents we have used.
