16th Jul 2019 (6 years ago)They informed us about a change in our move-in date less than 12 hours before the original date of the move. The new date was pushed by two weeks. Therefore, as we had already switched all utilities to the new apartment, we had to survive without utilities in the old apartment for two weeks. Moreover, the estate agent we were in contact with was behaving in a very unprofessional and disrespectful way on the phone as we called him to explain the issues. He was shouting at us on the phone and blamed the situation on us, the clients. Furthermore, the agent did not inform us about other issues we faced regarding the move and when asked about it, he claimed to have been in contact with us regarding the problems, which was not true.
10th Mar 2017 (9 years ago)I found my current flat with Harmens on Zoopla. Everything was too good to be true. I wanted to check the reviews, but the reviews were 1-star or so. I met them in person; they were nice and I wanted to trust them. Finally, I signed the contract. They are actually really really good. If you like one of their flats, I'd say, go for it.
3rd Sep 2014 (11 years ago)I will NEVER use this estate agency again to search for a property.We secured the property with the manager called Dawn by paying £450.00.She sent us our referencing documents which we were in the process of filling in.She also sent an email confirming we have the property subject to referencing.I therefore handed in my notice at my other property and found out a week later she had taken another group as they offered more money!!What is the point in a securing deposit when it is not used to secure the property.When I called the manager to discuss the situation she would not give me a chance to speak and spoke to me in a very agressive manner.Use another agency!
9th Sep 2025 (9 mo. ago)We have worked with a range of different letting agents over while renting our properties and have had a very mixed experience. And Savills have been the exception to that rule - Adam and his team have been absolutely brilliant. We have had great advice about the market and exceptional advice about handling awkward situations with tenants. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without them.
1st Feb 2025 (1 year ago)I’m met with 4 different agencies. Brickworks attention to detail, homework on the property and advice generally was superior to the other agencies and clearly so.
28th Jun 2020 (5 years ago)A small, independent, local company, not your typical estate agent. Excellent experience from start to finish. Very pleasant people to deal with and outstanding sales progression that went the extra mile. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

3rd Oct 2024 (1 year ago)We knew we were selling at a lower price but they found a buyer quickly and knowing there were no estate agency fees or solicitors fees brought the price closer to what we had hoped for.
30th Sep 2023 (2 years ago)ReMax Caning town property sale team has totally disappointed us in every step of 6 weeks period of sale of our house and wasted our time. They made a good first meeting impression, compare to other 6 estate agents, which swayed us to go with them but from there it was total disaster. The listed cost of property was not discussed and advised properly, they agreed with our “wishful” house price to get us sign up with them, rather than advise against current market situation. The listing of our property has been unprofessional, copied twice with different prices and unmanaged even after countless requests. The availability of the sale team was getting worse every week up to the moment where weren’t able to reach anyone in four working days. We had very little or no feedback from them on any viewings of our property. Compare to our second chosen estate agents who were complete opposite on every step of successful house sale ReMax was terrible choice and I would recommend everyone with hope of smooth and quick property sale to AVOID ReMax estate agents altogether!!

The buyers that we had lined up for us were all interested in buying the property, but typical of today, not many had there houses on the market, but not a load of time wasters that I had with other agents in the past. Would highly recommend them,

14th Aug 2025 (10 mo. ago)Harmens estate agents was defenetly the best estate agents in my 15 years in uk. I was theirs tenant for 3 years. In this 3 years, I had full support on everything. Like single mother, it s hard to find an agency who trust that you can be in time with all the payments ( even if you can afford it, they think you cannot)Harmens estate agents gave me an agreement like single mother, and more than that,they ve been there for me each time I needed. Always available, always solving quickly any problem appeared. Extremely friendly, professional and helpful each time I ve needed. A big thank you to all the team, a big thank you to Amna.I hope that one day,I will be again in a property managed by you guys. Claudia
