28th Oct 2023 (25 weeks ago)Horrendous experience. I called and looked to arrange a viewing of a newly listed rental property. I was told a colleague would return my call, this never happened and after 24hrs I called back to be told it’s off market and an offer had been made. I wouldn’t recommend, there’s plenty of other suitable estate agents in London.
18th Mar 2024 (5 weeks ago)I had a terrible experience two times over with Hamptons. The first was the Clapham branch which failed to inform me for weeks of any update after placing an offer during the final stages for a place to rent. I had to personally reach out two weeks post submitting the offer to be told I had lost out. Seems a little slack for me. Then the worst of it, the Pimlico Branch, particularly an agent accurately named Henry Douch. I wrote to this one four times in order to get one simple viewing for a flat I was very keen on, just across the road from me. After finally managing to get one, he had absolutely zero knowledge or information on the apartment and seemed to "wing" the details, of which I knew more of from the advert. Despite that, the apartment was beautiful and so I followed up by requesting an offer form on numerous occasions, even though he said he'd send it right over after the viewing. Then, after putting in a very generous offer (£200 above asking price, almost perfect move-in date, long tenancy, etc.) I again had no response for over a week and so had to follow-up even more times. After getting worn out from the incomprehensibly poor communication, I decided to visit in branch to confront him. "A rabbit caught in headlights" wouldn't even justify it. I was told he was "just replying to my email" (yuh-huh) and then proceeded to offer me a multitude of excuses as to why it was taking so long and that he'd keep me informed. Finally, after not being informed yet again, I went ahead and chased some more. He surprisingly replied instantly this time to tell me that the property had been "removed from the market with no reasons from the landlord." Knowing this was a complete lie, I decided to visit the initial ad on Rightmove to discover that the property was now "Let Agreed" (posted by Hamptons) which leads me to believe he never even put my offer forward in the first place for whatever ulterior motive he may have had, so I lost out on my ideal flat with only 2 weeks remaining to find another one. Overall, absolutely appalling service and will never deal with these guys again. How there is not more protection around this kind of misconduct is beyond me.

10th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)From the start Carlos Riveros has been a wonderful help and support in both buying and selling our property.He is also very well versed at dealing with property management companies .When there were obstacles Carlos was patient and worked through some tough situations without breaking a sweat. His cool, calm approach gave me the confidence that he would get the job done – and he did! I would highly recommend him.

On all briefs he has gone above and beyond to provide options, clarity and transparency and ultimately delivered just what we wanted. He is the only agent that 1. I would trust, 2. That always delivers. Highly recommended for commercial property searches and negotiations.
6th Apr 2024 (13 days ago)We had a few viewings from them, there was an offer put in for the house mid December 2023. Client had over £200k of deposit. They pushed us to get solicitor etc buyer was ready to go. We did that at start of January 2024.We heard nothing, no even mention of Survey, until we pushed on 05/03/24,there was NO response. then the agent said they were arranging survey, under valued house by £100k, valued at standard 3 bed house. They got another survey arranged, this was then valued at £40k under. The Buyer should not have been allowed to view the property if they could NOT afford the property. I sent a message on 23/03/24 with drawing the property with them as they had wasted 4 months.. we had another offer from a different agent also in Dec but as we had accepted the offer from Scotts we went with them. Big mistake !!!

As a developer and a landlord with a number of residential properties across London, I initially met Charlotte as a tenant during her tenure at her previous agency. Upon meeting her, I was very impressed by her professionalism and ability to promptly address any issues that I flagged up during my tenancy. While disappointed to learn that she had been recruited by Sandersons and would no longer be managing the property I resided in, it served as a testament Matthew’s knack for identifying talent and his commitment to building a professional team around him – so I took note of this. Fast forward a few months, we have successfully completed a development project consisting of 5 flats in the W11 area. Having historically mostly dealt with an agency which is considered to be one of the top in the country as well as globally, we initially intended to engage them on a sole basis for marketing the flats with the view to let them out. However, given how impressed I was with Charlotte, I thought it would be a good opportunity to have a conversation with Sandersons and consider them also. Subsequent to Sandersons’ team attending the property and making a very good first impression, we have decided to list the flat via dual listing with both our previous estate agency and Sandersons. My general belief before engaging Sandersons was that it really does not matter what estate agency markets the property - the reasoning behind it being that the prospective tenants access the same web portals to conduct their search. I was incorrect in this belief. Sandersons’ letting team led by Anna have managed to find tenants for 5 out of 5 flats in a brief stint the flats were on the market. I am yet to be able to explain to myself how they have managed to achieve this, however the result speaks for itself. They really do care about their clients across both ends of the market and I cannot commend them enough for their exceptional service.

3rd Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)Im shocked at the level of lack professionalism disreguard of potential tennents aswell of lack of care. I arranged a viewing for saturday. Its a good job i called up to confirm and check the address. Turns out my viewing had been cancelled as property was gone. No one called me to update me. I would of been standing out side waiting in the rain and no one would of been coming. To add insult to the matter, when asked why i wasnt informed i was told there was 40-50 people viewing, they didnt have time to call so many people. The lack of care and whatever attidtude is some what concerning. So basicaly we dont care about letting you know you been cancelled. Leads me to wounder if they are the same with tennants. If something needs replacing or fixing will they even respond?

From getting viewings through to securing a sale we received ongoing support and were kept fully up speed. Toby worked closely with ourselves and the purchasers to ensure the whole process went as smoothly as possible and we would not hesitate to use them again. 19th Mar 2024 (4 weeks ago)Unfortunately, I have to deduct two stars due to the nightmarish experience with the sellers' solicitors throughout the entire process. Their questionable practices have made the situation incredibly challenging, potentially necessitating legal intervention, which only exacerbates the issue. While it's true that sellers have the autonomy to choose their solicitors, it's reasonable to expect processes in place to ensure they select reputable ones, especially considering the control exerted over buyers to prevent withdrawal before the exchange. On a positive note, Nick/Jamie provided exceptional support and assistance throughout the entire process, even extending his help beyond completion. I wholeheartedly recommend their services to others and would certainly engage with them again in the future, terms and conditions apply*.- 27th Mar 2024 (23 days ago)Go and ask for Liam! He'll give you the best deals and steals. He helped us find an unreal flat within a very short amount of time.
