Loraine Allessendro what a lovely agent; positive, supportive, friendly and genuine. No many agents around have these qualities. First review I have written whilst looking for a place, which says a lot! Thanks
They let me a non-registered property. It had no planning permission, no safety regulations or certificates - just over all a dangerous and unsafe property. I wonder what my agency fees actually paid for if none of this was checked before I discovered it through the council.
The landlord always turned up unannounced and haart didn't seem to have much interest in how he was breaking his contract by doing this.
Someone in their office had done some on paperwork wrong so I got letters saying I owed rent when I didn't and this took a while to amend.
When I demanded to leave my contract and get out of the death trap early, I was ignored on email until I rang twice and eventually (after threatening legal action) had someone get back to me. This wasn't someone from Tooting but their head office - it was nice that he did side with me when I wanted to leave and helped me get out but this shouldn't have never happened in the first place.
After all of this, they made no effort to try and help me find somewhere new to live and ended up having to sleep on a friend's sofa for 2 week whilst I found somewhere new. They said I could stay in the property if I paid for longer but I refuse to stay somewhere with no fire/gas/electrical/structural safety standards.
Overall, a bit of shambles. I lost a lot of money through them which I still don't understand what I paid for if it wasn't a legal flat. Glad to see the back of them.
My property went on the market with Haart and was sold within the first week. Sukina and Jessica did a great job in the selling the place. However, we had some issues with the legal side, nothing to do with Haart, and Laura Thompson from Haart went out of her way to get it resolved. She was a constant and pleasant source of updates for me and no doubt a thorn in the side of the legal team as she 'encouraged' them all to work towards a faster resolution. I would definitely recommend the whole team
I am new to the UK, I am looking to purchase a property and one of their agents inflated the price of a flat to match my budget, literally adding 15k£ to the flat price, hoping I'd make an offer higher than what was expected. Lucky me I went online to check details before I made that offer.
Unfortunately, sadly, not trustworthy to me anymore.
Such a fantastic service!! Everything went through so quick and seamlessly, and we got got the property that we loved within the space of 24 hours. I would thoroughly recommend using Beresford Estate Agents, they're a very helpful and considerate company. Chris (who helped us get our flat) was fantastic and I just want to say a huge thanks to him as well.
Service was good while we were looking for a flat and smooth once we had found one. However, it wasn't until we moved in that we discovered that they manage the property and the service then was an entirely different story.
Many problems in the flat were never dealt with by Matt our property manager. When we requested to change our property manager we were told that they would be changed which never amounted to anything.
Beresford is Clearly a company that care more about their sales than their property management & I would advise not to use them if they are managing the property you are looking to rent.
I asked Foxtons to handle the sale of my Brixton flat after having a very disappointing experience with another local estate agent (3 months, no offers, poor communication).
Within 3 days Foxtons had secured a fantastic offer, and they continued to provide exceptional service throughout the entire transaction up until closing (especially Charlie Goodfellow who went above and beyond chasing a tardy lawyer!) .
Communication was proactive and transparent, and I loved their online portal that allows you to see exactly how many viewings you are getting.
I have dealt with a large number of estate agents over the years, for both sales and lettings, and I can safely say that this is the worst service I have ever received. Foxtons live up to their reputation to perfection. I have never paid so much for so little. Save your time and your money and use one of the many good estate agents out there who actually know something about housing, who respond to queries and who actually care about their clients. If you can possibly avoid giving Foxtons your business, then do.
I would highly recommend KFH Clapham common, particularly if Lloyd is still working there. We had to find a property and move in within a very short space of time and he really made that happen. The flat we now have is great and we would have been in a really difficult situation if it was not all sorted very quickly. He was always contactable, even staying very late in the evening when we were all rushing to get forms filled out. Since we moved in he has also been extremely helpful with a whole load of queries we have contacted him about, some of which I am sure are not his issue to deal with!
Strange how all the great reviews are in the last month. It's almost like there is some kind of coordinated effort to bury the bad ones.
Had a dreadful experience with these guys. Promised all sorts of demand and delivered 7 people through the door in a 3 month period. Only when I chased them did I get a viewing. Feedback was non existent.
On two occasions my flat was 'sold'. Only it wasn't because both times these 'really solid buyers' pulled out the next day. When called to complain about the level of service they even admitted that they had taken over 20 people to a similar flat in our block (incidentally not sold either).
Having finally grown tired of the ineptitude of these morons I gave the listing to Foxtons. 2 days and 11 viewings later the flat was sold for £10k more than any offer I achieved with KFH.
I was sold on the lower fees. I would strongly advise any other seller to not make the same mistake I did.
