17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

28th Jan 2023 (3 years ago)Walked in to discuss a bungalow they had for sale, whilst in workwear. Had one word answers whilst being looked up and down by a snotty guy. They need to not judge books by covers.

3rd Sep 2025 (6 mo. ago)Bell and Blake were the only one of four agents we contacted who valued the property realistically. Their local knowledge was invaluable in our situation (as we live elsewhere and were selling for an elderly relative). I am very glad that we were not lured by one of the various rival firms offering inflated valuations to get us on board- the house would almost certainly still be on the market and causing us great anxiety.
9th Jan 2026 (9 weeks ago)We contacted Fowlers in Storrington to ask for their help after a challenging time trying to sell our house, due to the chains below our buyers falling down several times. Paul and Lisa acted with pace, and quickly found us a buyer who was well suited to our property and importantly , very motivated to buy. Lisa’s contact throughout was excellent and she was both professional but very personable throughout. She worked hard to ensure all parties were kept on-track and any questions were quickly answered. Consequently, our sale went through smoothly and we were delighted with the service we received. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fowlers Storrington.

There were many days when I thought this would be utterly impossible! The persistence of Paul to get it over the line was so reassuring. I am just so grateful to have chosen a renowned national chain with their expert local knowledge to introduce a wide ranging clientele from all over the country. My new life is now assured thanks to the team for which I am eternally grateful.
