17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

13th Sep 2022 (1 year ago)Pegasus sold my parents property in a very difficult time. My father was in hospital after having a stroke and we had been told he would be in a wheelchair. Nick from Pegasus was respectful of our circumstances and absolutely brilliant. Even after my father returned home and had to sleep in the lounge they were very understanding about how difficult it was to get out. I highly recommend Nick & Peter and would not have wanted to deal with anyone else in the circumstances. A fantastic independent Estate agent that genuinely cares about your circumstances.

1st Jun 2023 (10 mo. ago)I was purchasing a property some time ago through them, I was a first time buyer and pregnant. They knew the vendor was selling privately behind my back and this agent kept me hanging there right until the process had gone through. I happened to call and said I’d just signed some of the last documents and sent them to the solicitors where they informed me the seller had pulled out (shouldn’t they have called me?) I since found out the vendor gave them a settlement for keeping me on the back burner in case the private buyer pulled out. Very unethical, to add on top I was 6 months pregnant by this point and had to find somewhere else VERY quickly to have my newborn.

My sale was particularly protracted, but Strutt & Parker supported me every step of the way and ensured that the sale came to a successful conclusion, despite a number of setbacks caused by a related sale further up the chain. It was only the care and attention that Strutt & Parker took that ensured the sale kept on track. Wonderful service.

They were far superior to any other estate agents we dealt with, highly professional but also friendly and very understanding when we had to delay due to mums illness and didn't pressure us at all. I honestly don't know how we would have got through the moving process without Kate. Thank you so much to Kate and everyone else we dealt with at Knight Frank.
