22nd Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)We have recently used Bedfords to market and sell our house in challenging market conditions. They kept in regular contact throughout the process and dealt with us and our buyers in a professional and straightforward way. Their marketing materials were significantly better than we saw from other agents. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
14th Feb 2021 (3 years ago)I viewed a property at Harlesron which is on the rental market for £2000pm my daughter rang to arrange the viewing to be told they are only doing viewings over 1 days.... surely prospective tenants are shown around until the property is gone??!! However I rang and got an appointment. If I was the landlord, and being a landlord of several properties in the past, I would be horrified at the total lack of interest and knowledge that the young lady had. I totally understand COVID being in the housing business myself but there is certainly no excuse being told to show myself around the maze of the property and I would have expected her to know the basic like if there was a log burner, the boundary of the property, storage facilities and the amount of stables and despite her keep on saying she doesn’t know anything about horses I don’t think you need to know anything about horses but should certainly know what comes with the property. Certainly COVID does not restrict a member of staff walking the grounds showing a prospective purchaser around. I know if I was the landlord I would be totally dissatisfied with the level of service they are getting for their fee and I would certainly expect a better level of service from A prestigious company like Fine and Country! Let’s hope for the landlords sale that the property is taken by someone

2nd Nov 2023 (6 mo. ago)I instructed Keylocks to carry out a level 2 survey and was very happy with the report John provided. It was very clear and included a good amount of detail. John was also happy to go through any questions after providing the report. As a first time buyer I can highly recommend Keylocks.
3rd Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)While in the process of purchasing a property through Brown and Co, I encountered issues regarding the legality of the build on the land. As a result, I made the difficult decision to withdraw from the process. However, I was disappointed by the way Brown and Co handled the situation. Despite their own terms, they refused to sell my property and terminated the contract. I found their actions to be unprofessional and childish.
8th Mar 2021 (3 years ago)The support of the estate agent was the most important part of this sale transaction for me, because I was selling the property as Executor for my father's estate, and I live overseas. Therefore I needed a trustworthy, professional, diligent estate agent, with reliable swift communications and effective marketing skills. Haart in Dereham fulfilled all of these requirements admirably, and I was delighted with a smooth and successful transactional outcome. In particular, I must mention Elton the Manager for his enthusiastic attention to the initial listing and creative photography skills which showed the property in excellent graphic detail. And also Roxy the sales administrator, who was always on hand to coordinate between myself, the buyers and the conveyancers. Her friendly, polite and efficient support was priceless! Overall, I unconditionally reccomend the Haart Dereham team for anyone who is selling or buying a house in their area!
10th Apr 2024 (24 days ago)The team at Warners have been fantastic during our sale which took a while due to the slow market conditions last year but they always kept us updated and gave us feedback from our viewings. They are all friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Particular thanks to Dominic, Michaela and Sue for their hard work. Highly recommended

11th Dec 2023 (21 weeks ago)The initial visit, photos and valuation were all handled professionally, very happy with this part of their service. I liked that they claim to be a local family run business and was happy to support them with my business. I appreciate that market forces often dictate how much interest the might be in a property for sale. In the 9 weeks my house was on the market I had two viewings arranged and then cancelled...not the fault if the agent ...but in that time didn't have one phonecall from Gilson Bailey to keep me up-dated or to touch base to reassure me. I was very disappointed by their lack of customer service.

15th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)***Observe the reply , difficult to contest facts I guess ???? heavy focus on sellers with no thought for buyers hence the lack of any meaningful content in the reply . If you are a buyer steer clear *** Where to start ? I’ll keep it brief . Viewed a property , offered guide price. No mention of another buyer offering at the time, unlike most vendors who provide a response in a short amount of time the seller provided no response until two days later . Given my position I had executed on viewing more properties, I was called by Rebecca who was quite unprofessional and short on the phone regarding this, almost expecting to me to fully commit despite not hearing back . Outstanding ! The excuse given was that she was waiting for Minors and Brady to respond regarding solicitors but this was already outlined that they were proceeding and arranging . An hour later I accepted, this was early afternoon mind you . After getting excited and beginning to contact solicitors , mortgage advisor and my estate agent I receive a ……. Wait for it !!!! An email , not a phone call out of courtesy an email . A poor one at best with one line at 8 in the evening. Fantastic ! What a fabulously communicated message . The offer accepted was less than myself however they were first time buyers . My buyers were chain free/cash buyers but let’s not dwell too much on the reasoning but the execution . I followed up with email outlining my disappointment asking for why they deliberated only to accept then pull out . I received no feedback so instead I’ll leave this review and share this with others . Unfortunately this estate agent didn’t have a grip of her client , clearly an unpredictable individual only exacerbated by the poor delivery from the estate agent . Stay clear !

Starkins & Watson has been the best Estate Agent we have ever used. We highly recommend Starkins & Watson to any potential buyer or seller!

Really pleased with this service longsons helped me buy my first house they took the time to explain everything to me and reassured me when I became overwhelmed by the new processes. Couldn't recommend them more!

I had a very disappointing experience with them, and I strongly urge you to spread this information as widely as possible. Despite their promises, they never followed through with the service they claimed to provide. I recommend requesting written confirmation from them before making any purchases or commitments.
