We have just bought a house through Savills. We were assisted through the process by Michaela. Having not bought a house for nearly 20 years, it was good to have someone from Savills to help us through the process.
For a number of reasons, not caused in any way by Savills, it was not an easy purchase. Michaela was available at the end of the phone or email to help us through the difficult and complex process. She kept us up-to-date and acted as an intermediary between us and the sellers. I have no doubt, that if it hadn't been for Michaela's friendly, supportive and professional approach to her work, we would not be the happy owners of our new home that we are.

An excellent service from Ben Rivett and his team at Savills.
Ben’s communication throughout the sale process could not be faulted. From the initial valuation, the production of the marketing brochure with photos and literature about the property, through to the viewings and the follow ups with the prospective purchasers.
After approximately 12 viewings within two weeks from the start of the marketing, we received several offers and exchanged contracts 4 weeks later. Ben was always prompt in returning my calls, often at weekends, and he was always friendly and helpful with his advice. The team at the office in Norwich were friendly, efficient, and informative and the viewing agent was excellent with the prospective purchasers. I had previously received a glowing recommendation about Ben from friends who had recently sold their substantial home in our town. The whole sale process was much less stressful than it could have been, and I would highly recommend Savills.

We arranged a car parking space through Savills which we paid for 3 months as agreed with no issues at all.
3 months later we received a letter from the council stating we owed £112 in business rates! We are NOT a business and this was never explained to us when we agreed to the space.
When I called through I spoke to a guy called Mark who's answer was essentially "this would have been made clear to you in the agreement sent through"
Fortunately I spoke to a lovely lady at the council who managed to help us resolve the issue.
Typical response of "it's all in the paperwork" which didn't wash with me. As a senior sales manager of almost 11 years who takes pride in the customer service he offers, this encounter was disappointing to say the least.

My calls were returned promptly and all messages relayed. When Ben's advice was requested it was given from the experience acquired through a good number of years in the business. I was very encouraged by the many viewings generated as a result of the excellent marketing, all of which were accompanied by an exceptional Savills Viewing Agent. During what has proved to be a difficult selling period for residential property I have found Savills to have kept their eye on the ball throughout, culminating in an agreement for sale within a 6 month period and conveyance within 6 weeks. We decided to go with Savills after our previous agents were missing mark and all I can say is they definitely lived up to expectations and beyond! We were lucky enough to deal with Polly who is exceptional at her job! (to be fair all the staff are helpful and efficient!) From informing us of what we needed to do get the house looking its best to in the end, managing a extremely eventful selling process, (to which our buyer pulled out twice!) Polly went above and beyond to ensure she would get us the sale we needed to relocate, even phoning us on her holiday once we exchanged! She is worth her weight in gold!
I can't recommend Savills enough and if we were ever to move again, they would be the only agents I would like to deal with!!!

I have nothing but praise for Ben Rivett of Savills. The advice, attention to detail, efficiency, price, and basic friendliness which he gave unstintingly made a tough decision - to sell the family home and another property - very, very much easier.

Savills have sold two houses for us over the years in North Norfolk . From the initial valuations, which are far more realistic than some other local agents, through the marketing and "off market" promotion to the viewings and the sale process it was first class. Ben Rivett was our main contact but all the Norwich staff were very well briefed on how everything was going and very helpful. We were so impressed that we used Savills in Beaconsfield for the sale of our house there in 2018.

We have used Savills Norwich for the sale of our house. They have been entirely fantastic from start to finish.
The agent who came to give us a valuation was very honest and straightforward to deal with and had an excellent knowledge of the local area (our house is several miles from Norwich).
The rates of commission were no more than any other of the 3 agents we had round.
When we decided to go ahead and sell through Savills they were incredibly efficient getting things prepared and whilst on the market they kept us up to date with all the viewings booked and any changes by email. They also did all the viewings for us for no extra cost and were considerate and completely reliable.
We accepted an offer of well over the asking price just 2 weeks after the house went on the market.
I can’t comment on the other reviews but our experience has been completely at odds with them. We can’t speak highly enough of Savills and would absolutely use them again.

My wife had our review removed by Savills, so I’m putting it up again....
We had a young man round to value our home with the hope of going with them. He had no knowledge of the area whatsoever and seemed very out of his depth. After a couple of days I was called back with a valuation that was more than disappointing. I got another 3 agents over who all came around £250,000 - £300,000 OVER Savills valuation. I called Savills up to enlighten them and hopefully get a second opinion from them, they were dismissive and quite frankly rude. Their customer care is non existent. Use the smaller guys you’ll find their service impeccable in comparison.

My wife and I had our house valued by Savills, with the hope of using them as our estate agents. They sent over a young chap who truly did not have a clue in regards to the property, or even it's location. After a disappointing valuation I called a further 5 agents. They all came around £300,000 over what Savills valuation was. In light of this, I called Savills to let them know just how far out they really were, they seemed very dismissive and quite frankly rude. Use the smaller guys, you'll find their service will be impeccable in comparison with these.
