4th Apr 2026 (19 weeks ago)Lots of promises and good advice at initial face to face meeting. They got me to drop the price quite early on. Two viewings in 7 months. I was supposed to have a phone call with them last week and had an appointment time booked. No phone call but a generic email. At the start they suggested I have new stair carpet and flooring in some rooms . I had new bathroom, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, landing and stair carpet put down. They took the house of the market without telling me. The sign was taken from the front of my house. I checked online and they had pulled the house of the market. Almost quite childish? I think it was a poor set of photos and description having reviewed my experience. They stated partially double glazed when I had every window replaced to double glazed. Just odd things that they didn't mention. I am not sure if they know the area and market that well as it is a good location. The house market is always difficult through the winter months but putting that aside , the company just don't communicate at all. I started to look at other options for selling as you just don't hear from them. I think the last promised phone call was my clear signal that as something needed to change. Their poor practice made the decision for me. I will express that the guy that saw me on the first visit to discuss selling was very good. Talks a good talk.

10th Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)Sale of our house and purchase of new house.<br><br>Good value for the services provided.<br>Stephen and his team are super friendly and very much able to call them with any issues. Picked up phone even 5 to 5pm. We were happy with sale (took 5 days on the market to have full asking price offer for our house). When council delayed entire transaction we were supported every step. No questions were silly, as we never sold a house before. Price for that kind of services is really good value for the money. Super happy with our new house that we also bought from them.

23rd Jul 2026 (20 days ago)Apparently they have a criteria to communicate back with you or not. After filling the application form for a rental house and sending your sensitive details and chasing them more than 4 times for couple of weeks expect no emails back. Waste of time, stay away.

28th Jul 2026 (15 days ago)Awful! They never vetted the tenant they put into our property. He had no landlord references, he said he previosly had a mortgage, think he still had a mortgage. Up Estates criteria for checking tennants fell well short. He certainly could not and did not pay his rent. Don't use Up Estated.The staff are just good talkers and are actually really annoying. I would never use Up Estates and would certainly not recommend them. There are much better companies, you may pay a bit more, but it will be worth it. AVOID Up Estates!!

8th Aug 2026 (4 days ago)I contacted Bairstoweve to sell my flat, they sent Mellisa out to talk everything through with me and my husband very promptly, Kellie also communicated very well with me throughout and I was given ample time to ask questions and explore the best options for me. Mellisa provided me with transparent fixed costs and gave me written confirmation of these and followed up via email which really gave me ease because from get go transparency is a key indicator if a good organisation. I looked to explore options with bairstoweve as they had great reviews and safe to say they live up to those expectations. Thank you Mellisa and Kellie.
