I had a very long and troubling process with multiple properties before I was able to complete in my first time home. Solicitors, estate agents and sellers can all be pushy, confusing, complicated, lazy and liars and if it wasn't for Danielle's positivity and hard working nature I would not have had the stamina or hope to get through it all. I simply cannot recommend her enough, going above and beyond in contacting solicitors and estate agents, ensuring I got my home in the end. In the dire housing market filled to the brim with ***holes, she shines as a breath of fresh air and hope for those looking to sell/buy and I'll be recommending her to everyone! 30th May 2025 (6 mo. ago)Property in Hastings was an estate sale, rendered challenging by the fact that I live five hours’ drive away. However, Stuart and Emma were exceptionally helpful and nothing was a problem - exactly the kind of “can do” attitude that is becoming increasingly rare these days. Thanks are thus due to the pair for dealing with what has not been a straightforward sale.

Good record keeping meant it didn't matter who I spoke to at the office at any stage of the sale, everybody knew what was going on with my sale - all questions answered and clear explanations given, thank you all at Crane & Co. for a successful sale. 18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Special thanks to Siobhan who understood our house and why we wanted to sell it and Alex who seemed to ‘get us’ straight away on all the viewings at other properties. We now feel like old friends! Everything went smoothly!

Ben was very Confident and Knowledgeable about the marketplace. He reassured me he could sell my property… I like to think people buy from people and Ben is vey much a person you’d be happy to buy from. So I decided he was the person for the job. It toke him 8 days!! I was thinking maybe 2- 3 months. Now to find a somewhere to go. I would happy recommend Ben and VC Estates whether your buying or selling. Great team
