2nd Mar 2019 (5 years ago)We are student at Durham University and we decided to rent a house. I called the estate agent and they agreed to send us the agreement and everything to rent this one house that we really liked. We were supposed to arrive a week later to submit the forms and pay deposit. When I got the papers, they confirmed with us that the house would be definitely be reserved for us. However, the morning we were supposed to hand in the papers, I got a short, badly articulated email saying that the property was no longer available and that we should look somewhere else. No explanation, nothing. We were angry because student accommodation is competitive and we lost so much time waiting for this house. Upon emailing them multiple times, they finally said that the previous tenants decided to stay for another year. Didn’t they confirm with the current tenants that they would be moving out? Why would they even list the house if that was an option? .Why send us the agreements and everything? They didn’t even bother trying to find us other options that we could stay at instead. All and all, I would never use this agent again because their service is absolutely terrible

Hannah, Georgia and Amy have all been fantastic in helping me along my journey to becoming a landlord! They made the whole process stress free, and was always happy to answer any questions I had and got everything sorted pretty quick and I now have tenants moved in so Thank you so much!

25th Mar 2023 (1 year ago)Kay was really helpful and provided us with plenty of information when our home was valued and images taken. They were really quick to put our house up once the pictures were taken. They are available every day of the week to speak too. They communicate well throughout.

27th Aug 2024 (18 days ago)I requested Hunter’s to sell my house back in February 2024 and needless to say from start to finish they did an amazing job, completely in August 2024 The pictures were very professionally set out My viewings were allocated at a extremely fast pace Quick responses to emails and phone calls And their communication within the sales process was outstanding they went above and beyond to support me and my buyers I would recommend Robyn, Jo and Joanne at Hunters to anyone buying or selling. Very happy with their service. Unlike the other agent, the office staff were easy to get in touch with and followed up calls from potential buyers.

We’ve never bought or sold a house for over 30 years and all the staff we were in contact with were extremely helpful. The actual sale of the house took place in less that a day. The first potential buyer loved the house and bought it. The subsequent paper work etc. was all dealt with very efficiently.
