27th Jun 2026 (5 weeks ago)We couldn't have asked for better support from Stride & Sons throughout the sale of our property. They came highly recommended by several local people, all of whom described them as the best estate agents in the area, and our experience certainly lived up to that reputation.<br>Our property was far from a straightforward sale. As a Grade II listed building requiring extensive renovation, it appealed to a smaller pool of buyers, and the process ultimately took just over a year. Throughout that time, the team at Stride & Sons remained patient and professional.<br>Their advice was always thoughtful and clearly focused on achieving the best outcome for us, rather than simply pushing for a quick sale. We always felt they were acting in our best interests, providing honest guidance and realistic expectations at every stage of the process.<br>We are extremely grateful for their support and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking to sell their home.<br><br>Edit: it was notable that their contract was a straightforward and simple two-page document (this was in stark contrast to one other particular estate agent we considered whose contract contained a jaw-dropping number of unfair clauses that you are guided to avoid).

They deal with any tenant enquiries promptly, arrange repairs when needed, and keep me informed without involving me in every little issue. It means I can have complete confidence that everything is being looked after while my own involvement is kept to a minimum.<br><br>One thing I really value is how knowledgeable they are. They always keep me up to date with changes in property legislation and government requirements, making sure my property remains fully compliant. They also keep my tenant informed, which helps everything run smoothly.<br><br>The regular property inspections and detailed reports give me real peace of mind. If any maintenance is needed, they let me know with clear recommendations, and the monthly statements are always accurate and easy to understand.<br><br>Their tenant selection process has been excellent too. They found me a fantastic tenant, and I’ve had no problems at all. Unfortunately, my recent experience with Dominik from the maintenance team was very disappointing.<br><br>I lost my key and contacted maintenance because I was never given a spare. I understand there may be a charge for a replacement, but the issue was the way I was treated. Dominik was rude, spoke to me in a disrespectful tone, interrupted me, and didn't let me explain my situation. Before I could finish, he said he couldn't help, then ended the call with a dismissive "Sorry, bye."<br><br>As a loyal customer, I expected to be treated with more respect and professionalism. I hope the company improves its customer service.

15th Jul 2026 (20 days ago)Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish.<br><br>We instructed White & Brooks to sell our home and, over a 20-week sole agency period, we had just four viewings and not a single offer. Throughout the process, I felt there was a real lack of proactive strategy. The weekly update calls often felt like they were made simply because they had to be (if they were made at all), rather than providing any meaningful feedback or a clear plan to improve interest.<br><br>My biggest frustration was the lack of leadership. As estate agents, I expected them to advise us, adapt the marketing strategy when things clearly weren't working and take ownership of generating interest. Instead, it felt like we were left waiting for something to happen.<br><br>To make matters worse, after our contract had ended I received a phone call regarding the return of our keys, and the member of staff I spoke to was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. It left a very poor final impression and confirmed that moving to another agent was the right decision.<br><br>Every property sale is different, and I appreciate that no agent can guarantee a buyer. However, I would expect good communication, proactive marketing and professionalism throughout the process. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience with White & Brooks, and I wouldn't choose to use them again.

As owners of holiday lets, Baileys manage the entire process on our behalf brilliantly. They consistently ensure that any issues are dealt with promptly and their attention to detail gives us great confidence that our holiday homes are in good hands. We can’t thank the staff enough for all they do to provide such an excellent service.

15th Jul 2026 (20 days ago)I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Steven Buchan my mortgage advisor . This has been a very long and stressful time. Sold my property once and Steven has been amazing. I met Steven when he was working in the Lancing Branch.This is my first time selling and buying a property on my own. Steven took me under his wing and guided me through the whole process of applying for a new mortgage. Unfortunately my sale fell through. I have had to start all over again . And even though Steven has moved to Bognor Regis he has honoured my mortgage deal. I have now resold my place and found my new forever home. Once again Steven has got me a great mortgage. His communication throughout this whole process has been fantastic. I highly recommend him ????????????

She was knowledgeable at the veiwing & went above & belonged to get us a suitable move in date with our tight time scale. As well as being helpful & friendly and always replying promply to my emails, she would be the first person I would go to should I need her services in the future.
