Worst Experience ever. They lost my ID and other documents. I am waiting for explanation from head office that they are safe. I m wondering how Barnard Marcus recruited such a 3rd grade sales representative ( Tom Pearce) who doesn’t care customers and misbehave with us. I will take this to next level. Please avoid them.... I recently sold my house through Featherstone Lee and found them courteous, efficient, professional, trustworthy and highly knowledgable about the market. I had lived in the house for more than twenty years with my growing family and I was afraid that selling up would prove hard and emotional. However, the whole process was so quick and efficient that I needn't have worried. Featherstone Lee made things as painless as possible and I would thoroughly recommend them.... Read more

Unfortunately I have been a tenant in a property managed by Feathertstone Leigh for 2 years and I have had errors and non-responsiveness nearly every time I have been in touch with them. If they are not getting a fee from the process they will to the utmost to not respond to you, having to chase them numerous times for each issue. Engineers turning up unannounced (during coronavirus, too), and then when contacted to let them know they would put the blame on the engineer. When originally signing contracts with them, they sent our documentation to two other people on two separate occasions. Constant spelling errors in contracts. When we left the property we were told to leave the keys in the office and the letting agents would contact the new tenants to arrange them collecting them the next day however I then had the new tenants contact me as they had received no contact from FL and were worried about how to access the property as their office had closed for the evening. The next day when they moved in FL gave them the incorrect keys twice. These are only a few of the many issues I have encountered and with them. They have consistently been so unprofessional and having lived in numerous rented properties this is the worst experience I have ever had with a letting agent. If you are a landlord and looking for someone to manage your property horrendously and never respond to your tenants then look no further.... Read more

Amazing service from Michael, Myah and Polly at Lauristons. Quick and efficient at arranging viewings. Always quick to respond to any queries and got us through to exchange after a very difficult situation with the chain. Can’t recommend them highly enough.... Read more

Mine and my housemate's experience with Lauristons Wimbledon could not have been more disappointing. We contacted the agency to view a couple of properties and we were shown around by Georgina, who was lovely and very helpful, even when we wanted to view a property a second time. We decided to go for it and sign a contract, which contained some requests by us, and were agreed by the landlord. All the transactions and negotiation were done via the agency, we never contacted the landlord himself as we were never given his contact information and we were reassured by the agent that they would deal with everything for us. Some of our requests included replacing broken cupboards and drawers in the kitchen, fixing a fence in the back garden, and removal of some items of furniture that we did not want and for which we did not have the space. To our surprise, upon arriving at the flat for our moving in, that these requests had not been met. In addition, the property manager to whom we were assigned (Talibah) is the most unprofessional person we have ever dealt with. Even though we had confirmation from 2 people within the agency that the furniture was going to be removed and the repairs were in our contractual demands, their response was that the landlord did not want the items removed and there was no time to do the repairs before we moved in. After our insisting, we were told a different version of the story in which there was a delay in clearing funds from the landlord as we was abroad and had sent a check. We were never informed of the non-conclusion of the repairs prior to our moving in. There was never any kind of intention to review the emails that had been exchanged between us and the agency to investigate who was wronged and where. I have sent several emails to the admin team and they only have a one-note reply: "the landlord does not want these items to be removed". I feel like we were lied to in order to sign a contract, and now that we are tied up for 2 years they can say whatever they want. Long story short, it's been almost 4 months that we've been living in the flat and these requests are still pending. The kitchen cupboards have not been replaced yet and we still have some of our things in boxes. The fence in the back garden was boarded up by the neighbour from their side. The flat has been serving as a storage unit for the landlord's furniture. Don't make the same mistake as we did and go somewhere else.... Read more

Sutton Branch Sales Manager Jones, is a nasty, totally untrustworthy man who gets his clients property keys cut for himself and then uses them for himself . This man suffers from Narcissism ( Mental disorder) and is extremely RUDE, NASTY and has no Respect for his Clients and constantly phones his clients and harasses them time after time. Today we had to make a Formal Complaint about Sutton Branch Sales Manager Jones to his Area manager for abusing his clients property keys by getting them cut for himself and using them and he's very Rude & Abusive to his clients. *DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN WITH YOUR PROPERTY KEYS AT ANY TIME. * NEVER EVER ISSUE HIM YOUR PROPERTY KEYS AT ANY TIME OR HE WILL GET A SET OF YOUR PROPERTY KEYS CUT FOR HIMSELF, SO HE CAN USE YOUR PROPERTY. *HE SUFFERS FROM NARCISSISM SO DON'T TRUST THIS RUDE, VERY ABUSIVE MAN.... A thoroughly stressful and unpleasant experience using Laurels. Rob at Laurels repeatedly let us down whilst marketing our property, Was unresponsive, often not responding to calls or emails. We have some suspicions of being misled or worse, lied to, regarding offers received on our property. I should stress these are suspicions at this stage and investigations into this are ongoing. In our opinion, the poor service from Rob at Laurels cost us a perfect home to move into and almost lost the seller of this home thousands of pounds through loss of a deposit. My personal recommendation would be to save yourself the stress and hassle and go with agents with a long track record of excellent customer service. In Epsom, Cairds are a much better agent in my opinion and charge the same fees as Laurels, or Greenfields in the Surbiton area. Please don’t be misled by the notion that Laurels are much cheaper than well established High Street Agents are this certainly wasn’t the case in my experience. My advice, avoid.... Read more

Thanks so much to Seymours for their wonderful service I would highly recommend if selling your house. I lost three buyers and yet each time Clare and Aiden got me back sold again super fast. Especially to Clare who came and showed around potential buyers when the office was shut between Xmas and new year. This meant I didn’t lose the house I have bought and I am truly thankful for all they have done. 5*’s ????.... Read more
