10th Apr 2026 (25 days ago)Things were perfectly fine at the start, but the tone shifted quite noticeably by the end. Once I handed in my notice, it felt like I was just something to move along quickly, simply because I was no longer a customer. The end of the tenancy came across as rushed and a bit impersonal, which made an already stressful process more so than it needed to be, and ultimately ruined what had otherwise been a good experience renting with them. Overall, not the best - but glad that's no longer something I have to deal with.

After that I did not have to do anything. Carol in the office arranged all appointments regarding viewing and kept me informed regally . This was a completely stress free situation thanks to the office staff. Thanks for everything .

11th Feb 2026 (12 weeks ago)After trying and failing to sell my property with another agent I randomly picked Hunters and I was so glad that I made that decision. Hunters showed more prospective buyers round in the first week than the first agents had done in five months! The property description was better, the photographs better and the communications with Ashley and his team were friendly, clear and rapid. Within 5 weeks I had two decent offers on my house and now I can move on with my life.
17th Apr 2026 (18 days ago)New Oak Estates have been an absolutely fantastic estate agents to deal with, and should I ever move house again I will definitely be using them. It wasn’t the easiest sale (not their fault) but nothing was ever too much trouble. I dealt mostly with Laura and she was amazing throughout the entire process. She kept me updated, chased when needed and was always very friendly and helpful. The whole team were always very polite and helpful too. I will be recommending them to everybody going forward. Thank you for helping to get this sale through for me.
3rd Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)Avoid!! We have had very little interaction with this Estate agent in 2 months. We were warned not to go with them, lesson learned. They are masisvely understaffed and its very rare the phone is picked up.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
