19th Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)I think Ashton are more aimed at selling houses than flats/apartments. They contacted me once, right near the end of the contract. I had to call them to find out feedback and if viewings took place. This was a little disappointing.

14th Oct 2025 (6 mo. ago)Tried selling a flat with them and it was a drawn out and painful process. It lasted more than a year before it fell through. Going with their contractors and solicitors was the biggest mistakes I made in the sale. I thought if I went with their recommendations, they will facilitate the process, but no. One was dishonest and the other one completely incompetent. Stuart Edward was initially responsive, but then when run into problems months down the line, Lindsey stopped answering calls and the boss Stuart did not call back when messages left. I was left on my own to deal with all the technicality and mess. It was so horrible and stressful, I do not wish it on anyone. Two stars was being very generous as they were ok initially. I went with them because I wanted to support family business. Never again.

10th Mar 2026 (8 weeks ago)Overall, good valuation and good knowledge by the management. Poor communication and difficult to get in touch with. Felt as if sales may have been missed due to phone not being answered.

9th Jan 2026 (17 weeks ago)I feel like I’ve just wasted month after month with timewasters been sent to my property who weren’t even in the position to buy, having asked them the question. I very disappointing experience.
26th Oct 2024 (1 year ago)2 viewings one offer £40000 below asking price which was set by agent as realistic then they said it was probably too high. Also I take offence to their Facebook posts that state everything they touch turns to sold! When clearly it does not.

14th Apr 2026 (22 days ago)If you are a tenant with this company, then be on your guard, as operate a very underhand business. I was given a section 21 after living at the property for 18 years and did everything in my power to move as quickly as possible. I kept them fully informed of all I was doing to move, so the landlord didn't have to incur extra court fees also. The thanks I got for this was them trying to take my bond!!! Tried to say I owed rent, which I didn't and they rectified this but then wanted money to clean a broken extractor fan and oven that was gifted to me by previous landlord. Catherine originally told me not to worry as all would be wear and tear. This was not the case. The minute I moved out (in a hurry as they requested) I was then slapped with a bill for oven cleaning, rent owed etc. If you are a tenant and receive a section 21, then don't help them, as they don't appreciate anything you do! The thanks you will get is them trying to take your bond!
