30th Mar 2023 (3 years ago)Signed for a no fee deal including legal fees. Paid £200 up front. The buyer of my property dragged on for months resulting in me losing my house purchase. Dowena then refused to pay the legal fees despite the agreement costing me over £400 in fees for nothing. Very immoral company.

14th Oct 2025 (11 mo. ago)Tried selling a flat with them and it was a drawn out and painful process. It lasted more than a year before it fell through. Going with their contractors and solicitors was the biggest mistakes I made in the sale. I thought if I went with their recommendations, they will facilitate the process, but no. One was dishonest and the other one completely incompetent. Stuart Edward was initially responsive, but then when run into problems months down the line, Lindsey stopped answering calls and the boss Stuart did not call back when messages left. I was left on my own to deal with all the technicality and mess. It was so horrible and stressful, I do not wish it on anyone. Two stars was being very generous as they were ok initially. 3rd Sep 2026 (19 days ago)1 Star was too generous. Ignore the good reviews. Appalling service. Clearly short staffed as it's a real struggle to get through on the phone and when you do, you are greeted by staff who must be the most unhelpful and unpleasant people to deal with. No rapport, no engagement, no flexibility and no interest. Open every Saturday AM apart from Bank Holidays, as they close on the Saturday and the Monday. Zero effort from the sales team to nurture an enquiry into a sale. Clearly there must be easier sales to be had.

Nor to suffer broken promises, or to be introduced to a buyer who definitely isn't going to be able to buy, and an agent is well aware. These things cause real damage and distress to a seller. I/we definitely don't recommend this business, it caused provable harm.

I paid a £150 holding deposit after being told the landlord had approved my application and that I would proceed as the tenant.<br><br>Only a few hours later, I was informed that the application had been rejected and the refund would be issued. The refund was not processed on time, forcing me to chase it daily with no proper communication or urgency. It was only returned after a full week of constant follow-ups.<br><br>Although the money was eventually refunded, the way this was handled was unacceptable, stressful, and shows a clear lack of professionalism and respect for tenants’ time and money. I would not use this agency again and strongly advise others to be cautious.
