   Terrible agent<br><br>I went to view a house last week. I had no contact from the estate agent to ask me for feedback, so I resorted to submitting an offer by email. I got a receipt saying they had accepted my offer, and that was it nothing more.<br><br>I didn't hear anything for over a week, so I sent a courtesy email to them asking for an update, to which I received an out-of-office notice from the 'senior negotiator' with no sign that my message had been passed on. So I sent my follow-up email to the office instead.<br><br>6 hours later a got a phone call saying they had taken another offer from someone else.<br><br>At no point was I informed of any offers, or the seller's situation and how they will be dealing with offers, which in this process is valuable information.<br><br>In reality, I could improve my offer, had a solicitor ready to act, and a mortgage in place and a deposit, which make me a low-risk buyer.<br><br>I find this lack of communication poor when dealing with people's emotions and money. I understand I lost out to a cash buyer, which is understandable as that is a good position to be in. My frustrations aren't with the seller but the estate agent as this does not account for their poor/lack of communication through the process... Read more

   The agent arrived 10 minutes late to the viewing and, unfortunately, seemed to know very little about the property. Communication has also been very poor. Since making the enquiry, I’ve received six cold calls from their office in just two days, which has felt excessive and intrusive.     Polished marketing and a “boutique” label did not translate into the service or value we expected. The photographs and brochure were well presented, but our overall experience was disappointing. We trusted their initial pricing advice. Although the starting price was proposed as a short trial, the substantial reductions that followed and the eventual sale price left us questioning, in hindsight, the realism and quality of that advice. The eventual buyers first viewed through this agency. We ended their instruction without an offer having been secured through them, and another agent subsequently negotiated the sale and handled its progression to completion. Given the high fee, we expected much more from the advice, personal support and service provided. In our view, the fee was disproportionate to their contribution to the completed sale. Based on our experience, we would not recommend them.... Read more
