13th Jun 2026 (7 weeks ago)Terrible agent, shown up for how poor they were by the quality of every other agent in our purchase chain. Our vendor, who was using their services, views them as dreadful, our own agent who had to deal with them complained of exactly the same slow and unhelpful service that we had. On completion, initially didn't even know it had happened, completely hopeless, miserable experience and didnt even have keys to hand over, with no attempt to resolve matters. The vendor was an elderly client and got entirely insufficient support from them. If it were not for our proactive solicitors arranging for keys direct from the vendor, no doubt we would still be waiting to move in. 0 Stars isn't an option, so 1 star it is.
1st Aug 2026 (2 days ago)Very professional and efficient in finding a two bedroom house to rent in a short period of time. After expressing interest, Barnaby Wood handled our move in excellently and in a friendly manner, answering all questions and making the move in as hassle-free as possible.

I have also been informed they have difficulty retaining staff!!!!! Previously had first class service.
30th Jul 2026 (4 days ago)?I rented a flat through Maxfield for five years, and I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. ?From day one, the entire team was exceptionally caring, attentive, and honest—traits that can be hard to find in the property market! Any maintenance issues or questions were tackled almost immediately, and their response times were consistently fast throughout my entire tenancy. ?It was an absolute pleasure cooperating with them over the last five years. I always felt looked after and respected as a tenant. I highly recommend Maxfield to anyone looking for a stress-free and genuinely professional renting experience!

Angela at Martin & Co has recently been helping my wife and I as we reported the fridge freezer had broken down (typically in hot weather!) and nothing has been too much for her. She kept us up to date every step of the way and made sure we had a new appliance installed and the old one taken away in a timely and professional manner. Superb customer service. 10/10.

7th Sep 2024 (1 year ago)Our first contact with Linley & Simpson to let a property was with Hollie Landi. She was totally on our case from day 1 & kept us informed of each and every development! Lucy carried out the property inspection…excellent! Hollie did all the viewings and kept us informed regularly of any interest in renting! Some references took a while to come through, but hey that’s the way it goes, not the fault of Hollie or Linley & Simpson!

As the new kid on the block looking to get a presence in the Crosshills area, he went above and beyond, communicated well at all times and always responded promptly to enquiries. He was professional throughout despite dealing with some tedious characters and slow solicitors. We would thoroughly recommend him and his team.
