21st Aug 2026 (27 days ago)Terrible agent<br><br>I went to view a house last week. I had no contact from the estate agent to ask me for feedback, so I resorted to submitting an offer by email. I got a receipt saying they had accepted my offer, and that was it nothing more.<br><br>I didn't hear anything for over a week, so I sent a courtesy email to them asking for an update, to which I received an out-of-office notice from the 'senior negotiator' with no sign that my message had been passed on. So I sent my follow-up email to the office instead.<br><br>6 hours later a got a phone call saying they had taken another offer from someone else.<br><br>At no point was I informed of any offers, or the seller's situation and how they will be dealing with offers, which in this process is valuable information.<br><br>In reality, I could improve my offer, had a solicitor ready to act, and a mortgage in place and a deposit, which make me a low-risk buyer.<br><br>I find this lack of communication poor when dealing with people's emotions and money. I understand I lost out to a cash buyer, which is understandable as that is a good position to be in. My frustrations aren't with the seller but the estate agent as this does not account for their poor/lack of communication through the process
13th Sep 2025 (1 year ago)The only element of concern was the property was valued too high and I had to reduce on a couple of occasions and then accepted an offer lower than the reduction.

9th Dec 2019 (6 years ago)In this ever uncertain market it can be difficult and daunting to sell a property, especially when your circumstances dictate the sale more than your intentions to sell. However, if you have an understanding and diligent agent you will find the stress of selling will ease a considerable amount. I am grateful to GetAgent for putting me in touch with Yourmove in Keighley. Yourmove provided an exceptional service, I was kept informed of updates and a buyer was secured in good time. All the staff at Yourmove in Keighley were very helpful and very understanding. I would highly recommend GetAgent and Yourmove in Keighley! Thank you again Yourmove, great service and advice!

I have also been informed they have difficulty retaining staff!!!!! Previously had first class service.

27th Aug 2026 (21 days ago)The agent arrived 10 minutes late to the viewing and, unfortunately, seemed to know very little about the property. Communication has also been very poor. Since making the enquiry, I’ve received six cold calls from their office in just two days, which has felt excessive and intrusive. Overall, a very disappointing experience and not the level of service I would expect from a professional estate agent.

7th Sep 2024 (2 years ago)Our first contact with Linley & Simpson to let a property was with Hollie Landi. She was totally on our case from day 1 & kept us informed of each and every development! Lucy carried out the property inspection…excellent! Hollie did all the viewings and kept us informed regularly of any interest in renting! Some references took a while to come through, but hey that’s the way it goes, not the fault of Hollie or Linley & Simpson!
20th Aug 2026 (28 days ago)Made an offer on a property and Jack came back to me and said it had been rejected. Made an improved offer £5k below asking price.Advised he would come back to me shortly. Over three weeks have now passed and no contact. Since found out property sold to a higher offer. The basics are you communicate with buyers and do not just leave them hanging for weeks !!!!

He also understood what we were looking for in a home, and was able to show us a house which had not gone on the market yet - something we really appreciated after going to house viewings with other estate agents that felt very busy and pressured!
