10th Oct 2019 (6 years ago)I've recently made my will and power of attorney, I've now lost count of how many times I've had to go in to the (Haddington) office as they keep on getting names and addresses wrong. Told them numerous times but clearly not paying attention to detail.

Nawet jak bym by?a gorsza od mojego banku. I nie dzia?a u nich w firmie internet?? W 21 wieku kiedy wszystkie dane mo?na przes?a? przez maila pan chce si? spotka? w biurze i zobaczy? dokumenty,- 19th Nov 2025 (6 mo. ago)I slightly misunderstood a request made by the lady who I was speaking to on the phone. She proceeded to talk to me in a very condescending and rude manner. I felt belittled and actually a bit upset, even when I was trying to help and understand her. Not the type of interaction I expect from a professional solicitors.
3rd Aug 2025 (10 mo. ago)Fraser Symon and Tracy Andrew were efficient, responsive and helpful. The work they did was fantastic and I would recommend Paris Steeles Dunbar Office and Staff to anyone looking for solicitng/conveyancing services. The same cannot be said for the North Berwick Office. I was with them initially before being passed to the Dunbar team and the difference was night and day.- 2nd Sep 2025 (9 mo. ago)I previously had dealings with Fraser Brooks during our property purchase, as they were representing the sellers. Although they were not acting on my behalf, I found the experience with them to be disappointing. Communication was often curt and, at times, came across as rude, which made an already stressful process much more difficult. From my perspective, the level of professionalism fell short of what I would expect from a firm of solicitors. While they may have fulfilled their role for their own clients, the manner in which they engaged with others involved in the transaction was poor and unhelpful. A prime example of this lack of professionalism is when I went to collect my keys. I had purposely gone after the lunch hour to avoid waiting about (the office is in city centre so parking is a nightmare) as I had been told multiple times lunch was 12-1. I was waiting outside the office for 25 minutes. Tried to phone them multiple times. No response. After 25 minutes at 13:25 the gentleman came strolling back in. No apologies for being late or keeping me waiting. When I queried about why he had been so late to return back to work he proceeded to become stand offish and rude. Based on my experience, I would not feel confident recommending this firm

My husband and I moved into a flat managed by Home Lettings and we were very impressed with the level of response when things needed fixing. The staff are always so kind and personable as well. I would definitely recommend Home Lettings to potential landlords or lessees!
15th Apr 2026 (9 weeks ago)I moved to West Lothian about 5 years ago and up until that point, apart from buying & selling houses, I never had the need to seek out legal services. That soon changed . . . Sorting out my parent’s estate after they both died intestate, selling my aunt’s house when she was assessed as having no capacity and going into care and a requirement to update my own Personal Will and Power of Attorney documentation all seemed to happen one after the other. I sought out Stewart Watt & Co. after they were recommended to me and I have been delighted with the service, advice, knowledge, efficiency and professionalism I received from their solicitor/partner Zara Mair. In conclusion, over a very short period of time, I required a wide variety of guidance and legal expertise which Stewart Watt provided that helped me enormously . . . Thank you!
26th May 2026 (19 days ago)I am disappointed with my experience working with Ryden. Communication regarding invoices and payments has been very difficult, with repeated delays and the need for constant follow-ups to receive payment. This creates unnecessary stress and makes it hard to manage supplies and ongoing work professionally. I hope the company improves its payment processes and communication with contractors in the future.
