12th May 2026 (12 days ago)Initially found the team to be professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful prior to signing the contract. However, the experience deteriorated quickly afterward. Communication has been extremely poor and often unresponsive, with commitments made that were not followed through. Overall, the service has felt disorganized and significantly below expectations for a letting management agent. The property continues to be shown in its current condition, which raises questions about their standards and oversight. Additionally, their knowledge of the local area appeared limited, which further reduced confidence in their ability to manage effectively. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using them for lettings.
11th Sep 2025 (8 mo. ago)After deciding to move to a family plot, we engaged with Sworders, who we have used many times before, for planning advice for a replacement dwelling. After getting some initial stellar advice from Clare Hutchinson, I was introduced to Hazel Izod who had only recently joined Sworders. As a former planning officer, Hazel immediately gave me confidence with her very detailed knowledge of the planning policies and laws but also understands the perspective of the planning authority, therefore providing solid and balanced advice to achieve our aims. Hazel expertly guided us through the process, helping us to overcome obstacles, explain concepts and I felt truly brought into our vision, becoming a strategic partner with us on this very personal and important journey. Whilst others may be well versed in the policies Hazel can interpret them with a practical and pragmatic approach, ensuring all elements are considered (including taking the likely views of the planning officer into account). Our application was successful on the first submission, and I have no doubt that this was largely down to Hazel’s expertise and input. We have subsequently instructed Hazel on various other planning applications (or preparation work) and have had the same impressive and responsive service. With one application, for a car port, the application was initially turned down due to the land we proposed building on being considered “open Hertfordshire countryside”. Within days of the refusal, Hazel had prepared a detailed and comprehensive appeal for the application, and the refusal was overturned. I have recommended Hazel to everyone who has asked me who I would recommend for planning advice, and she is literally on my speed dial when anything planning related comes up.

4th Dec 2022 (3 years ago)We chose Savills because they appeared to be the most efficient and proactive company we approached to sell our home. Unfortunately once we’d signed up, they weren’t reliable and didn’t communicate with us regularly. Phone calls weren’t returned, our agent was never available when we rang. Feedback only given twice in 6 months. We have now taken our property off the market until next year.

19th May 2026 (5 days ago)After 17 months trying to sell with 3 different consecutive agents (traditional) I decided to take a chance with an innovative agent as you describe yourselves. I asked a lady who had just sold with you and she was encouraging. My agent arrived Tuesday, photographed Thursday, checked ok Sunday and advertised Monday. Immediately I had 2 viewings Friday before 10am. By 2.30 pm I had an offer which I accepted. All in 10 days.

From our initial valuation to handing over the keys, their professionalism was outstanding. They are friendly and have a “can do” approach and where we saw a problem, they saw a solution. Their communication with us was excellent. This was undoubtedly our best ever estate agent experience. We would recommend them wholeheartedly.
