The commutation was great, via phone calls and emails.<br>I want to give my credits to the 3 people that walked this journey with us, Mark, James and Paige, these trios are great team, even when we had challenges during the course of our transaction, we were represented well and presented our case professionally. Guided us through out the journey as a first time buyer.<br><br>Massive thank you Chandlers.
6th Oct 2026 (27 days ago)I read several of the reviews already posted before I wrote this and feel that I'm just repeating what everyone else has said! Putterill's sold my late Mum's retirement flat (notoriously difficulty!) for us and I cannot recommend them enough.<br><br>Oliver started the process enthusiastically and gave us confidence that they would sell the property to the right person at the right price. Nigel was exceptional - professional, proactive, knowledgeable - and kept the whole process moving to a happy conclusion for all last Friday.<br><br>I believe that many newer estate agents may be cheaper than Putterill's but you get what you pay for! There is no upfront fee which you may lose if the sale falls through for any reason - you pay on completion of a successful sale. I would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them wholeheartedly!
16th Sep 2023 (3 years ago)Norgans have great knowledge of the Hitchin property market and whilst their valuation was markedly different from the other agents we approached , their valuation proved to be far more realistic . Excellent communication throughout the process despite deteriorating market conditions and a house close to the railway line that put off several viewers

We not only sold our property with them, but bought our onward property too, and in both cases, the experience was easy, efficient and as smooth as buying a property could be. The thing that stood out though, was the level of communication. We always knew what was going on, and because they used WhatsApp, communication between us and the team was easy and convenient.<br><br>Would highly recommend Wellington Evans. There is clearly a good reason why you'll see their boards everywhere in Hitchin!

5th Aug 2026 (13 weeks ago)One call undertook a complete refurbishment of my one bedroom flat - new kitchen, bathroom, lights, doors, plaster work, redecorating. Super reliable and high quality job pretty much on time (the heatwave slowed work a few days which is understandable). No nasty surprises when a couple of unavoidable issues popped up and I made a few new choices - I was always fully aware of cost and timetable. Highly recommended.
