12th Oct 2024 (24 weeks ago)It was an unfortunate start and things did go wrong but luckily we eventually sold the house for a reasonable price thanks to lots of help from Savills who stayed with us. It got very stressful at times because of delays etc. Would recommend this company of course.

22nd Oct 2024 (22 weeks ago)We recently sold our property with Ashtons Harpenden, and they turned a very stressful process into a much easier one! From the initial valuation to the day we handed over the keys, the team were brilliant, particularly Greg, Jonny and Ryan. But that said, no matter which member of the team we were dealing with, the service was excellent. Viewing feedback and progress updates were given frequently, and it was always easy to get hold of someone if needed. Would highly recommend Ashtons for any future property services.

23rd Oct 2024 (22 weeks ago)Martin & Co looked after the tenancy of my property, then later went on to manage the sale. For both, the team were fabulous. Being a first time landlord they made the process incredibly straightforward - Indi handled everything so professionally, and was true to her word every step of the way. She was super responsive, thorough and I had complete trust in her to manage the tenancy end-to-end. When selling my property, Indi again actioned things at pace and secured the price I wanted. In terms of managing the process through to completion, the consistent service levels of the team were proven as Hefina was fantastic at liaising with my vendor, keeping me updated and worked in the background to keep the momentum going when the process slowed. If you’re looking to rent or sell a property, I would highly recommend the incredible team at Martin & Co. to handle it.

The whole process was exceptionally well managed from our initial sale, right through to our exchange of contracts. The whole Country Properties team were polite and informative when we called and always followed through on calls backs and actions as promise. Steph and the team were instrumental in keeping our chain informed and worked tirelessly to move the chain forwards. Steph and her team made such an impact on our chain that others in the chain commented on their excellent service and hard work! Moving house is never easy, but I can honestly say that the support we received from Country Properties got us through the process and we are extremely grateful. Country Properties and the whole team were by far the best estate agent we have ever used and we cannot recommend them highly enough.- 2nd Oct 2024 (25 weeks ago)Connells provided us an excellent service in selling our house. They managed all the viewings well and kept us informed of the feedback. They were also able to help negotiate the price of our onward purchase with a neighbouring estate agent. In all very happy. 18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
