We were with another estate agent for a few months with no sale and then moved to Country Properties. Within weeks, our house was sold! They kept us up to date with everything and always picked up the phone when we had questions. As we moved back to Leicester before the sale completed, they made sure the house was okay by doing regular check ups (especially with the recent rainfall in Flitwick!) and making sure the house was fine for everyone’s pieces of mind. They truly went above and beyond and we couldn’t thank them enough. The whole team were an absolute joy! Thank you so much again for everything…you were all amazing. Riky & Manisha

I have rented a property with them for a few years now and I can say that I always receive exceptional customer service from Ivan and Holly.
7th Sep 2024 (28 days ago)Took my time to write a covering letter and application for a property, but turned out the property was already let and they had not bothered to remove it off the website. They did not even have the courtesy to reply to my application and let me know the property was already let and still to this day I have had no reply. The only reason I found out is because I called up anonymously asking about the property and was told it's already gone. After that call it was still up for a few days so I made another enquiry (not as myself) and that is when they finally bothered to take the property down. Find this really unprofessional and unkind to just ignore people and not even say thank you for your enquiry but unfortunately the property has already been let, apologies that the website was not up to date, etc. I took hours writing my covering letter and application and all that time had false hope that I potentially found the new home of my dreams only to find out they were just not proactive enough to take it off their own website or Rightmove and Zoopla. Really upsetting and not impressive at all. I am not sure the role of estate agents, but I always thought they were here to help you find a home, so I am just surprised they didn't email back any suggestions of other properties they have or put people on a shortlist of people that are searching for homes. I guess we are all just numbers these days because they probably have a million and one enquiries and no properties. Oh well.

A sale price higher than I had expected was achieved and the sale concluded without any hitches - within three months of engaging Mather Estates. Thank you to Danielle and Will for a job well done! I put a bit of pressure on her for a quick turnaround for a house I really loved and she handled the situation very professionally and made it seem easy. She made this happen so smoothly and so quickly. From phone call to moving in was just a few days. India’s work attitude was the main reason why we made this happen and why I felt surprisingly relaxed during a hectic time. Will definitely use again moving forward. Thank you.

Every single person I spoke to in the office was friendly and helpful and I was very much kept in the loop throughout the process. When the conveyancing process got tough, Cooper Wallace were possibly the only sane people we were speaking with! Brilliant service!

They have kept me informed throughout which has taken away a lot of pressure which has been stressful due to being ill and other factors. Thank you, I appreciate all that you've done throughout a stressful time. I highly recommend Leaders as previous estate agents were an absolute nightmare.

Whenever the process slowed or was getting stuck, she was working to get things sorted in a timely and efficient manner. We felt well taken care of during what can often be a stressful time.
18th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
2nd Jan 2021 (3 years ago)Generally very pleasant to deal with. Had to correct a few mistakes they made with the listing which surprised me. Also they initially had to be pushed to progress the sale. However the team were polite, informed me on progress when it was made and generally I was pleased with the overall experience. I was also slightly surprised that they require an up-front payment of £300 for photos that you only get back if they complete the sale. This was in contrast to all other agents.

From the very beginning, they demonstrated professionalism, dedication, and expertise that put us at ease throughout the entire process. Selling a house can be stressful, especially when it takes a very long time to complete (notwithstanding them getting us multiple offers and finally completing with one above asking price). We had an extremely difficult property to sell. But Nick and James made it as smooth as possible. Their communication was impeccable—they kept us informed every step of the way and were always available to answer our questions or address any concerns. We truly felt like we were in the best hands, and I can’t recommend Nick and James more highly. If you’re looking to sell your home, do yourself a favour and get Wellington Evans onboard.
