4th Apr 2024 (16 weeks ago)We recently used w h brown Harrogate to sell a relatives property and I have to say that the service was very good in general. We had been on the market with 2 other agents in Harrogate prior to browns dealing with the sale and had not had a great experience with either agent! So I was very specific in the service I wanted when instructing browns…. initially I dealt with the previous manager who was excellent but left the company prior to us agreeing a sale ….the new manager however Claire introduced herself and then handled the property negotiations at offer stage and chased the sale up, we completed approximately 9 weeks after agreeing the sale, she provided an excellent service.I was a manager of an estate agents for 25 years so know what makes a good agent and I can honestly recommend W H Brown Harrogate if you are looking to sell in the Harrogate area. Emma Mitchell in particular handled our latest tenancy post a long term renter vacating. The process was smooth, communication open and swift renewal achieved. I'd highly recommend them if you're a landlord seeking a stress-less agency/owner relationship.

18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

They have been attentive, responsive, and always available to address any concerns or issues that arise. The maintenance of the property has been impeccable, and any repairs or maintenance requests are handled promptly. They truly care about their tenants and strive to create a comfortable living environment. I highly recommend Silverspring Sales and Lettings as a tenant for anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy rental experience.

She was happy to answer all our questions and was very encouraging about our sale.She was also very prompt in replying to emails and texts during this process. In the end we had a very straightforward sale as we swapped houses with our buyer, but that buyer came from one of the early viewings arranged by Monroes.I would recommend Kiera and Monroes without hesitation.
