During what felt like the longest house selling experience of my life, the house is final sold.
I have to thank Marcus personally for his stirling work keeping everything on point when it derailed many times, no thanks to the antics and demanding behaviour of the other selling party.
Throughout the many challenges that the other seller posed, Marcus and the staff at Andrews remained professional, responsive and dedicated.
The rental side of the business is an absolute disgrace, lies, lies and more lies. The Senior Manageress (Bobby) lied to my mother (a pensioner) in order for her to take a tenancy. There is an air conditioning unit in the flat that my mother was swindled into renting for a year. Bobby the Senior Manageress said it was because the landlady has asthma but it's clearly because of damp and condensation problems. She went on to say it costs just pennies a month to run. It doesn't, it costs a fortune and it is so cold, my mother would need the heating on during Summer in order to stay there. My mother cannot stay there as it is so cold, dirty and the bills would be astronomical but they will not release her from her contract. Shameful.
We initially went on the market with Cubitt and West and it was an absolutely horrible experience. They over-valued the property by 26% to win the business and then failed to communicate with us during the process.
We then decided to give Streets Ahead an opportunity having met with Sam. He was honest about the market but assured me that if I’m patient with him, he’ll find a buyer.
Credit to Sam, he did exactly that. Once a sale was agreed, I was then passed over to Robyne who was simply magnificent.
Sam stayed in touch and even gave me his mobile number in case I ever needed him outside of the usual working hours. Wish we went on the market with Sam and his team from the beginning.
Started of well but minutes after all the monies were paid, they didnt give a toss about the problems I had in my new property on the night I moved in. Namely Daniel. They ignored my phonecalls and emails despite barely missing any correspondence from me prior to signing the contract. Never got my copy of the signed tenancy until now. Charged for things that they never even did. Very very very unprofessional. Disappointed
Frost have been everything we could expect of an Estate Agent and more. Personal and professional service with real solid feed back and performance throughout the sale process. From start to finish we are very pleased with the way Frost have handled the sale of our house.
At the end of our tennancy we have had the house cleaned by company called Clean Culture Property Services Ltd which was recommended by Frost.
After they have checked the house over thwy said in the check out that there were cobwebs and carpets were dirty (which has been paid for to be done). We have been trying to explain that we have paid for professional cleaning of the house by a comoany that has been recommended by them but they rellied that they didnt have any problems with them in the past and there is nothing that can be done.
So we have spent £360 on end of tennancy cleaning and also have been charged extra £180 for cleaning the carpets becaus the company didnt do a good enough job.
Really bad customer service, Avoid!!!!
Big thank you to Tom at the Purley office for his help and efforts allowing me to seamlessly sell my apartment. I had been quoted lower valuations by two other agents, not only did Tom assure me it was worth more and value it higher, he actually proved it by selling it over the asking price!! Transaction was smooth and all at te Purley office helped right along the way to the new buyers collecting their keys!! Thanks guys!! N.
Possibly the worst experience of an estate agency I've ever had they forced people to see a property that people couldn't afford they don't vet the people coming round avoid like the plague Purley Branch manager Alex advises he wasn't happy with how his staff has dealt with things he will make it his personal mission to work on it gets no one in isn't in the office for days then when we question it he has the audacity to say everyone is entitled to have personal days off and he did nothing to guarantee his word then says he thinks he may of overpriced it by 40grand !!!!!!!they charge high fees get a sweetener of 12.5 percent for anything over the asking price they are the biggest sharks in the game don't use them awful awful experience.
