16th Jul 2024 (11 days ago)Absolutely awful. Undervalued and only my insistance to market at my sensible price did they and it had offers over the value. They also had their own agenda with any offers. A friend rang to enquire about my house and was told it was sold when it wasn't When I questioned them they denied it even though she had evidence. Complained but done nothing until another complaint came in they said the people involved don't work at office anymore, therefore nothing could be done. I cancelled agreement and on evening before contract finished a buyer of theirs turned up on my doorstep ( incidentally they had suggested I speak to their buyer before end of sale)

A big thank you to Sheldan who was a pleasure to meet, he was extremely polite, positive, professional and ensured all our questions were answered. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and we are so grateful. Although i hadn’t met Katie in person, she was indeed reassuring and corresponded so effectively so we never stressed once. Thank you so much & keep up the great work.

The service provided was exceptional, with regular check ins with myself to make sure any concerns were addressed. I feel very fortunate to have been looked after by such a talented team and supported so closely. Strongly recommend to anyone looking to sell their property or purchase one of their listings.
26th May 2024 (9 weeks ago)From the moment I contacted Gascoigne Pees to the time I had my offer at the asking price they were Helpful, Professional and efficient. They suggested an open day would be the most effective process for my personal situation. Nigel came to the property initially and explained the whole process. Jessica helped with the paperwork and kept me up to date through the process on every detail and Emma conducted the many viewings. The whole process from information gathering to getting a validated offer was approximately Two weeks. I would definitely recommend Gascoigne Pees to anyone looking for peace of mind and Results.

I worked with the company back in 2019 - 2021 and left due to poor management. Staff were treated so unprofessionally and it started to affect my mental health. Recently the two owners parted ways and they reached out to me again and asked if i wanted to work with them again. They promised me things have changed and the way they work is much better. I clearly did not last long there, considering that i am leaving this review 3 months after rejoining. I feel compelled to share my thoughts and insights. From the moment I rejoined the company, I noticed a concerning lack of transparency and ethical practices. The management seemed more focused on making quick profits rather than providing quality service to clients. One of the most alarming aspects of this estate agency was their consistent disregard for laws and regulations. They would often cut corners and bend rules to maximize their own gains, leaving clients vulnerable and uninformed. The lack of proper documentation, misleading advertising, and hidden fees were all common occurrences. Furthermore, there was a prevailing culture of dishonesty within the company. Agents were encouraged to use high-pressure tactics and misleading information to secure sales, often at the expense of the clients' best interests. This not only tarnished the reputation of the agency but also created an unhealthy and toxic work environment. Another concerning aspect was the lack of professionalism and accountability. Many of my colleagues lacked the necessary qualifications and experience, which resulted in poor customer service and inadequate advice. Moreover, when faced with complaints or issues, the management would often dismiss or ignore them, leaving clients frustrated and dissatisfied. Overall, my time at this dodgy estate agency was disheartening and has left a lasting negative impression. The lack of integrity, transparency, and professionalism made it impossible for me to continue working there. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to proceed with extreme caution and thoroughly research alternative options.

I’m very happy we went with Folklands because at the outset they did something many estate agents are afraid to: they challenged how much we thought our home was worth. Usually, agents try to give you lovely figures that are high and get you to have unrealistic expectations. Folklands calmly but firmly gave us the number they would expect we could reliably receive on the market, and in hindsight they were right. We got enough offers early on (but not so many as to feel we had undervalued the flat), and the team were great at communicating with us. Highly recommend.

Since the beginning of our negotiations we felt things were a bit strange… But as we really liked the house we decided to still move forward. After awkward beginning we got a call saying that we got the House. We were extremely happy. We them hired solicitors, got our mortgage approved and we were just waiting for the probate. After 1.5 months of our offer being accepted, we received one call saying that they were very sorry but there was another offer (sounding like it was a done deal for the other bidder.. yes it became an auction we believe..) Long story short, even after saying that we would potentially rase our offer to still keep the house, they never came back to us so we could only imagine that they for some reason chose who is buying their houses… At least for us this seemed very evident. With our mortgage ready/approved, investment positions withdrawn and solicitors hired. Big ££ loss will all that on top of the terrible experience… Ps: By the way the house was out of market as it was marked as Sold…
